The condo was on the corner. You could look out from the lani and see the beach and straight out to see the ocean. Turtles visited daily any time from 11 AM to noon. The condo has all the necessary items to make you comfortable. My wife and I enjoyed the king size bed. There were vintage posters on the wall that brought back memories. The owner Neal is a very nice man. I look forward to staying in this condo again.

This was the perfect spot for my husband and I. We enjoyed our breakfast on the lanai every morning. The view is mesmerizing with the ocean and views of the other islands. We also were able to watch pods of dolphins swim by. The condo has a great location to the beach, the boardwalk, grocery store, abc store, restaurants and food truck lot. It’s well stocked with everything you need. The condo was also quiet and peaceful so we could sleep well. Thanks for an unforgettable vacation!
The view is everything! The condo is clean and has everything you need. The bed was extremely comfy. The location is prime and conveniently located close to a grocery store and hotspots like Whaler's Village. I will definitely consider booking again in the future.
We loved our stay - fantastic view and location, comfortable King bed, the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. You may want to mention in your listing that you have a Kurig Coffee maker - as we would have brought our favorite coffee pods. Quiet and relaxing with the lull of the ocean waves at night time. Just what we needed for a relaxing vacation.

Excellent place with good views
Overall we had a great stay here. This condo has spectacular views, and watching whales on the lanai with our morning coffee was truly a highlight. The Ka'anapali area is very nice, with wonderful beaches, restaurants, and a grocery store nearby.Check-in and check-out were very easy. The king bed was comfortable. The sofa bed was comfortable (for a sofa bed) and very easy to use. When we reached out to the owner, he was quick to reply and communicated clearly.Some things to know in advance are:- The property itself is older and the age does show in places.- The kitchen and living area are nicely renovated.- The kitchen was clean and nicely equipped.- Coffee was NOT provided, so be sure to bring your own. - There is no coffee grinder, so be sure to buy ground.- Salt and pepper were there, but no other kitchen basics (oil, sugar, etc.) were provided.- The bathroom really needs some attention (ceiling tiles broken in places, rust visible).- The owner does NOT provide shampoo, conditioner, or body soap for the shower. We only discovered this after getting into the shower after a long day of traveling, which is not an ideal experience. We have been traveling with VRBO for more than 10 years, and we have never stayed in a place that did not provide at least travel-size containers of body soap and shampoo.Overall we had a positive experience in Maui!

Exactly what we were looking for, right on the beach!
Very nice location and affordable for the area. Neal is an attentive owner and answers any questions or concerns promptly. Can’t beat a condo right on the beach!
Property is great for whale watching. Views are good. Everything you need is included.
We used to stay at Maui Kai several times and were lucky to rent the corner 408 condo this year. The condo is very clean and well maintained and has all the amenities you'd need but not too overloaded. The location is perfect with 180-degree view of the ocean and the beach. We've seen lots of whales from the lanai. The owner (Neal) is very responsive and helpful. Will come back next year. Thank you!
This is a great little condo, but man the location is unmatched. Sure the building is a little dated, but the views are second to none. The waves are literally crashing up on the seawall like maybe three yards from the condo. Perfect for happy hour on the Lanai! Location is halfway between Lahaina and Kapalua so tons of restaurant options, including a food truck yard outside the property. Grocery store across the street which is super convenient. A+ condo!

Our stay was perfect! The condo is as described. Very clean. The bed is more comfortable than ours at home. This condo offers an amazing view of the ocean and beach. You can't beat the views! We enjoyed watching turtles each day. The unit was well supplied. It's older and could use some updates but the ocean views totally made up for what the condo was lacking. Neal was quick to respond to questions. Would definitely stay here again.
We loved this property. Fantastic views, Turtles swim by our Lanai, Seal sunbaking on the beach. Great access to pristine snorkeling locations. Neal and Vicky are fantastic hosts. The property is modern and very well kitted out with all the necessary gear to be self sustained. We loved our stay here and will be sure to tell all our friends.
Weve stayed at several suites in Maui Kai and this was by far our favorite. The views for this corner lot are absolutely stunning and the place was very clean and spacious. Neal is an excellent host that went out of his way to make sure everything was going well. I would definitely stay here again and can't recommend this place enough!

Beautiful corner unit with gorgeous views all around! Great to have the food truck park in walking distance and we found lots of fun shopping and food spots nearby. Without knowing much when we booked, we really liked this location on Maui, finding it well located to many of the activities that we wanted to enjoy. The unit is well appointed with a new kitchen that includes everything needed to cook up good meals and enjoy alongside the breathtaking view. It was a pleasure to be hosted by Neal. He was available as needed and quickly addressed our questions. We appreciated all of the thoughtful touches throughout the unit, including plenty of extra blankets, pillows, and beach towels. We would certainly recommend this gem for your stay on Maui!

The location was fantastic. We saw a ton of whales from the balcony (March visit), and snorkeled a 5-minute walk south. The fold-out bed was fast to set up and fold back, and was comfortable.
Neal was an incredible host—communicative, informative, and genuinely hospitable in all ways. This home was furnished with fishing and beach gear, appropriate kitchen items, light cleaning tools, and a sweet and sincere welcome gift. Beds were comfortable and the entire place was spotless. It was relaxing to take in the view any and all hours of the day and the proximity to great food, the beach, and a variety of tours was at our fingertips.
