Arrived Friday evening with the AC broken. Contacted the property management company. They had maintenance out the next morning at 10am who confirmed the AC was broken. We were told they have portable AC units & will provide one if the owner will pay the additional charge for it. We would have been perfectly happy with that. Unfortunately, when we returned that evening there was no portable AC unit. There was no way we could sleep another night in the sweltering 87 degrees (or stay the additional 8 days). The condo is cement brick - we literally felt we were in an oven. We were there for our wedding & had another 24 guests staying next door in Aston Shores. It took a couple hours searching the web and calling other resorts to find another unit available for us to stay in nearby so we could still be close to our wedding party. It was very stressful. Luckily, we found a place. We moved out of that unit Saturday night and enjoyed a restful sleep in an airconditioned unit. I contacted them the following morning and told them we vacated the unit. They charged us for 2 nights (we only stayed one night) along with all the other fees VRBO, Cleaning, etc... Awful experience. I'm working with the credit card company to get by 980 returned for the one miserable night we stayed there. Do not stay here.
We would definitely stay here again. The location is wonderful and the view is stunning. Whales every where you looked and turtles to boot. Beautiful view of neighboring islands the sunsets were amazing. We are looking forward to returning again.
I have utilized vrbo often with good results. I do feel your fees are excessive and now make an effort to look at other options.

Condo is beautiful and immaculate . Getting there was a bit complicated. Maui Kai office lady was pretty RUDE when we inquired about the condo. Would not help except to ORDER us to read our email. There was also intermittent hammering and sawing from the condo above (901), annoying! And when the electricity went out, we could not find a flashlight or candles. An emergency kit would have been helpful. And perhaps a call or email from you during our stay would have been a nice gesture. And inform future guests that there are used books available in the pool rec room.

Following are the key points that I would love to highlight about this property:
- Excellent location, situated right in the heart of Lahaina with lots of restaurants/food trucks and groceries around
- Close by to major attractions, including Kanapalli Beach
- Amazing ocean view from the balcony, we were lucky enough to spot tons of Whales and could witness beautiful Sunset form Balcony
- It will be really good if some upgrades are made, mainly with regards to appliances, otherwise the entire condo was maintained very clean. For sure will try to book the same during our next visit to Maui.. Mahalo..
This place......absolutely memorable. Best 2 weeks I've had yet on the islands and the view is probably the best you can find. We walked around all the other resorts along the beach and realized we had the building closest to the water. Place felt like a true home away from home. Nothing like hearing the Maui coastline every night and toasting to the sunsets. Also have an insane view of Lanais and Molokai islands.

We couldn't be more happy with our visit. The views from the lanai are breathtaking. The gourmet kitchen had everything we needed. We can't wait to come back!
