Great condo for 4 people, more than 4 is too many. Property management company was amazing to work with! AC is down in the unit and building. The laundry room is currently closed and no in unit washer/dryer. The gym was closed when we were there as well. Overall, great stay and would stay at MKV again, a bigger unit next time for sure!
MKV is a great resort. Room was great, great view, pool just steps from the beach
Great room and very comfortable for a family of 5 with 3 children. Friendly suggestion….The unit needs more flatware and plates to accommodate 6 people it advertises that it can sleep. There were only 4 forks so had to continually hand wash dishes for use, thus never using the dishwasher. Lovely resort and would return.
Disappointed with seeing mold infested ceiling sloppily covered by some sparkle and paint while it is apparent that it is coming from the air conditioner vent being directed onto that part of ceiling. Was concerned about the health repercussions of this! Also the wall paper is so outdated as is the cracked mirror wall. Bathroom tiles need to be replaced due to multiple cracked and chipped tiles that are areas where bacteria can harbor. It's a great location but a few small simple repairs would make it a great place to stay.
I can't think of anything that wasn't on the mark or done with excellence! From the first moment we entered the property to the last as we left for the airport, our stay was perfect! The property is beautiful, the staff were all pleasant and personable - even the Castaway Care became a daily favorite! As close to perfect as any we have ever experienced.
Our stay was fantastic. The room was clean and had all the necessities we needed. Fresh beach towels from the main reception whenever you needed them for the pools or beach! Beach chairs and boogie boards were included.
Great location! Beautiful beach!
Overall a very good property. We've stayed at the Kaanapali Villas before and were a bit closer to the beach, but overall it's a three minute walk. Other things include:
Super comfortable bed
Nice linens
Well equipped (beach chairs, umbrella, snorkel, etc.)
