Great stay for a family vacation. Very comfortable unit and great pool in the complex
This was an excellent place for the family to establish as the "base of operations" for our stay in Maui. The check-in process was easy, and Yolanda was great to work with. We were so grateful for items such as ice chests, snorkeling gear, umbrellas, beach chairs, and beach towels. The Suburban was a great addition and a very convenient way to load the tribe up and move around! We will definitely stay here again.
Had a great Hawaiian getaway! Enjoyed the house and all it's amenities. Owners were very responsive and accommodating to the few hiccups we had during the stay.
This worked well for our family. Even thought the condo is dated and old, there were many positives such as plenty of kitchen supplies like tupperware for leftovers, pots & pans, as well as toys for the kids and floaties for the pool and booster chairs and high chairs. The list goes on.
The hosts were absolutely fantastic. Super helpful and had great communication. The pool is very handy if you want to hang out there. Our kids loved it! Kihei is a great place to stay on Maui because it is near all the cool stuff. The beach was a short walk and the sunsets there were spectacular. We had a ball and it was a great place to stay for our family.

We had 10 people staying at VRBO- 4 adults and 6 kids ranging in age from 4-10yr old. Everyone had plenty of room! Awesome they had beach chairs, sand toys, floaties if needed. Centrally located. Would definitely recommend staying in VRBO again.
3 small families had plenty of room to spread out. Large family kitchen was well-equipped and provided a gathering spot for breakfasts together. The pool is located steps from Unit 5A and it is very large and super clean. We throughly enjoyed our stay here at the Koa Resort. The lanai leads directly onto the spacious gardens with plenty of room for young ones to run around. A great place for families!
Owner was exceptionally accomodating and friendly. Unit was well equipped and fully met our needs for a group of eleven. Highly recommend and would stay there again.
We like the place very much, but it wasn't exactly like the description on the web site said it was.
Seven adults and a child of 14 months. Ample room for everyone. Includes accommodations for kids as well as a vehicle that can be used. Also has sporting and beach equipment that can be used. Close to everything. Everyone thought this was the perfect place. This is the perfect family (or group) property. I highly recommend this property!
The property was adequate with good family space. Location was very good but the daily bugs in the kitchen and provided vehicle were not acceptable and disappointing.
I don’t recommend walking around on bare foot here bc my socks and feet were black. There was a cockroach the size of a crawfish in my cousins room, ants in the sink upstairs (the one in the bedroom), ants on the dinning room table, and ants in the bathroom down stairs. Otherwise it was really good location wise (great amenities), but if only stay here for less than a week next time.
This place was probably the best equipped VRBO we have ever stayed in. The resort had a lot of amenities and the pool was beautiful. We would definitely stay here again.
12 people ages 1 to 62. 4 families. Everything was as stated in the property description. We loved the pool for the kids, the beach was perfect. We didn't need to bring or rent as much stuff as the place had everything. . Great property-hreat trip!!
We were glad to have a vehicle included with the rental, that was very convenient to have a car that fit 8 people. The unit included many amenities that we used such as beach towels, chairs, and kitchen equipment. The unit is very spacious and fits many people. The pool was very nice and the location was great.
Owner gave us two addresses and two check in codes for Unit 5A. Very confusing. The refrigerator's ice maker did not work, only 1 of 5 tv's worked, Freezer did not keep things fully frozen, fan in one bathroom didn't work and washer smelled of mold/mildew. Unit was roomy and in good location but upstairs bath wasn't very clean and unit is very dated. Needs painting and modern updates.Very disappointing for the price paid. Should be an adjustment in price made by owners.
Our family of 12 loved staying here. Great location. Plenty of room. Three big bathrooms. Our only suggestion is that the bedroom with a queen bed upstairs needs its own AC unit and a new mattress. Otherwise the place was great! It's really hard to find anything to rent on Maui for big families and this is the place plus it comes with a Suburban which was wonderful to have use of. Highly recommend.
We had 10 of us from ages 8-65 stay at the house and it was fabulous! Plenty of space for everyone to sleep in their own rooms (by families) and eat inside or outside together.
The back of the house walks right to the gated pool, where there was no more than 3 other people in with us at a time. The hot tub was great and the beautiful plumeria and palm trees all around made this place a beautiful getaway.
We could walk across the street to the beach, and the family lived this as well.
The house is central to all plazas, markets, and basically everything!!

It was the first time my family took a vacation together and it was our first time booking with vrbo. We were a little scared about booking but so glad we found this gem. The location was great for us, the community pool is literally a few steps away and having the suburban was a PLUS! Yolanda is an amazing host and was quick to answer msgs. We are all very happy with our stay here.
This property was perfect for our family group of 11 which included five adults and six children age 10 months to eight years. We really appreciated all of the beach toys and beach chairs along with the wagon to cart it all to the beach. We spent part of every day at the pool and also made use of the tennis courts and the barbecues in the cabana area. The kitchen was stocked with every kind of pot, bowls, dishes and appliances that you would need. We were able to use the property vehicle which was awesome so we didn’t have to rent a second car.
The owners were easy to work with and we highly recommend this property for family groups of all ages! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Absolute perfection in Maui. This condo was perfect for our first ever trip to paradise. We stayed with another family, 4 adults and 7 kids ages 18-9 and we were not crowded at all. We loved that the condo was spotless, had a washer and dryer, steps away from the pool, beautiful lanai we enjoyed daily, a 3 min walk to the beach, everything you could need in a kitchen, comfortable beds and perfect location! The beach walk was so easy, with a crosswalk to cross the somewhat busy street, but drivers in Kihei are so mindful of walkers, we never had a problem crossing the street. The neighborhood was nice a quiet, other than the roosters, which we LOVED! We were 40 minutes from anything you wanted to do in Maui which was great. Never to far from anything! Kihei is a wonderful little town that had such a good local flare, definitely didn’t feel like a resort town, but we all loved that! Highly recommend this condo, Yolanda and Lee were wonderful hosts, very good communication and such a clean condo! Mahalo Yolanda and Lee for helping to make Maui magical for us!
We stayed at Yolanda & Leo’s house for 7 days and had a wonderful time. There were 11 of us in the group. The distance from the beach was great. We did a walk to the brewery one morning and stayed for lunch. It was challenging for Me at 70 and bad lungs but rewarding to make it!! You definitely need a vehicle. We used the vehicle from the house and rented one to accommodate everyone. If there was any problem (like the dishwasher failing) it was dealt with promptly. Actually they replaced the dishwasher!
They are truly great hosts, available and yet they do not bother you at all. Thanks for a week of wonderful memories!
This condo was perfect for our family of 9, ages 2 1/2 to 73. The layout provided great separation - family with 3 kids upstairs, the other 2 couples downstairs. There is lots of room to spread out on the main floor. The huge lanai opens up to the grassy area, the pool is about 30 feet away. Our toddler loved playing on the grass. The resort grounds are very nice. The condo is very well stocked: kitchen, beach items, toys and games, baby items and tourist information. The seniors really appreciated ‘regular sized’ lawn chairs! This condo is very good value, with the added bonus of the use of the Suburban. It is in a good location. It is an older unit, needs some updating, but this does not affect staying here.
This condo worked very well for our family group of 8. Plenty of room and amenities were great! Really appreciated the extra touches and supplies - fresh fruit on the counter on arrival and fresh juice in the fridge! Lots of games for the kids - they loved the small table foosball. Plenty of beach equipment. The included suburban was the best. These things made this condo a big step above other rentals we’ve done in Kihei. Location is across the street from the beach but restaurants etc are quite far away and a vehicle is definitely required.
Our family recently stayed here and I have to say that it was perfect for all of us. Plenty of room to accommodate 9 adults, 3 toddlers, 2 teens and 2 babies. Perfect location with amenities and close to everything! Leo and Yolanda are great hosts and provide everything to make your stay more enjoyable and are in touch every step of the stay.
