I have always pictured “the perfect Hawaiian vacation” in my mind. The place we were in was amazing. I have been to the big resorts, and many places in the world. I have never stayed somewhere with a view like this. The condo was clean, beautifully decorated, and literally finished with “two” of everything you might need. Two sets of dishes, silverware…extra boogie boards! This was the definition of stress free paradise. Also the whales constantly played off the lanai. I could go on for pages. If you are lucky enough to stay here…do it! Just don’t book the next two weeks that I want, ha ha
Great spot. Very quiet. Bit of road noise. Very high quality and great beach with the kids.
This is a nicely decorated condo in a beautiful location. However, for the price (very expensive), we expected the condo to be in great shape. The A/C broke after one night. Although they attempted to fix it, they were unable to do so, which resulted in very hot conditions inside the condo. Additionally, the dryer didn’t work. They tried to fix that too although they were unable to do so. A flood in the bathroom had water all the way into the hallway. Other routine maintenance problems should have been handled as they occurred. Screens completely off their tracks, light bulbs out, etc. I am so disappointed by the condo. This was a dream trip, planned after I finished a year long treatment for a serious disease. Unfortunately, despite the great location, I won’t stay at this resort again.
Stunning! The condo exceeded our expectations! Waterfront view of the ocean and beach! Extremely relaxing and quiet. We would stay there again. We were there for 2 weeks!
This was a really lovely property with everything we needed for a wonderful week in Maui. The furnishings and decor are beautiful and the kitchen was well equipped. We spent a lot of time on the lanai enjoying the view - lots of whale viewing!
Just a couple of items about the condo: there were 5 beach chairs, but 2 had ripped seats. I called about this, but apparently the local Costco has been out of them for the last month. Also, the clothes dryer took a long time to dry clothes. We cleaned the filter out but that didn't really help. It is likely the vent to the outside that is blocked or clogged. I called about this, too; however, the person that came over just cleaned the filter again, not the vent. There was a toilet that was leaking that required a new float valve, and someone came over promptly to replace it. So, just some routine kinds of things that you might expect problems with when places get a lot of use. Also, we were told there would be a small cooler but were unable to find it; we ended up buying one and leaving it there. These are the kind of things that should be checked in between guests so that these kinds of calls don't have to be made. These were pretty minor things. We really enjoyed our stay and the condo was perfect for us (2 couples, long-time friends).
We loved staying here - probably one of the nicest condos we have ever stayed in on Maui. The condo was very clean and spacious, and since it is managed by the resort and not just a single owner, fresh linens were dropped off halfway through our week which was really nice (no interior service because of COVID, but we expected that as most VRBOs don't provide mid week cleaning anyway). Some folks complained about check in - we found that not to be a problem. The condo was ready for us about an hour earlier than we expected so that was nice. The only weird thing is that there was 1 form that had to actually be printed out, filled out, scanned, and emailed back. I felt this was unrealistic - Hawaii is so far from everywhere else that most people will take a whole day (or even 2) to get there - I asked for the form to be sent 72 hours before we left so I could take care of it at home. Not sure how people are managing if it isn't sent until they are in the air (where in heck do you print and scan a random form at the airport?). I feel like this should either all be online, or just sent at time of booking since it was mostly agreements not to party or make too much noise - nothing that needed to be filled out right before arrival. Other than that, very nice. You definitely need a car as there aren't really any eating places or groceries within reasonable walking distance - but that wasn't a problem for us. Lovely uncrowded beach. Overall a great stay for 2 adults and 2 teens. 10/10 would recommend.
Superior view. Well appointed unit. Comfy bed. A few minor deficiencies were noted and brought to the attention of the property manager who was very responsive and accommodative. Very secure, safe property, good pool, close beach access, 5 minutes to Wailea and 10 to kehei . Very nice place to stay.
