Beautifully upgraded unit!
Great place and responsive management. Two minor problems. Dishwasher ran but didnt clean. Soap still sitting where you squirt it. AC doesnt turn on when you want. Was told it waits til door sensors are “calibrated ” or something. Eventually starts when it is ready. Not really a helpful feature. No complaints otherwise. Great place would stay again.
We had an amazing stay. The condo is just as advertised, with an amazing view and a wonderful kitchen. We love the Makena area and Makena Surf. You are far enough away from the busy hotels to be able to feel secluded, but you are close enough to enjoy a great meal or visit to the bar at one of them.
Location of unit can’t be beat. The kitchen and living room are updated (except for carpet), however bedrooms are outdated and need some TLC. We were disappointed that many other units had boogie boards and beach umbrellas available for use while we only had beach chairs. An umbrella on lanai was also needed at table.
The property was beautiful, very quiet and well kept. We stayed in unit B305. Excellent view.Fairly well stocked. Communication with property manager was good. Unit was fairly clean, carpets in bedroom could be cleaned. We would recommend and stay again. Dishwasher doesn’t heat dry, I saw that in a prior review.
My family and I had an amazing week at this terrific beach front condo. Everything worked perfectly. Magical views off the lanai - we saw dolphins and whales on the same day. Would highly recommend this condo. Snorkelling right off the beach, can see ++ turtles and fish, even a spotted eagle ray. Worth the money!!
Great view, but could not enjoy or go onto lanai after 3pm as there is no sun umbrellas or shades outside. Air conditioning was spotty.
Construction happening next door without notification.
Lanai was filthy, feet turned black from being on the deck/lanai.
No one answered phone at management office, but would try and text back. Poor service.
The unit was in great shape, the beach and views are one of a kind. Great sunsets, snorkeling and whale watching!
Absolutely stunning property. Very spacious, clean, and convenient. If you like quiet, this is where you’ll find it. Saw lots of whales from our balcony. Perfect condo.
Second time in 2023 staying at the Makena Surf. Great location on the beach and "Turtle Point" plus close to Wailea and Kihei restaurants and shopping. EV charger was a plus for our Telsa rental car charging. We are planning on a return trim in July!
