Makani Sands Unit #207 is a beautiful one bedroom condo on the 2nd floor. Easily accessible by stairs or elevator. You will be mesmerized by the sound of the waves and the views out to the islands of Lanai and Molokai. The beautiful outside lanai has table and chairs for 4. Perfect for your morning coffee, whale and turtle watching and of course the beautiful Maui Sunsets! This condo has a newly remodeled kitchen, fully stocked with all the modern conveniences (including dishwasher) and utensils to make your stay enjoyable. There is a king size bed in the bedroom and a sofa bed in the living room, giving you room for an extra guest. Large High Def TV's in both the living room and bedroom. Also includes, large ceiling fans, Free internet and washer and dryer. Makani Sands Unit #207 has been the repeat home to many guests through the years. Everything was as advertised and communication was great. Awesome views in a great location with out breaking the bank. There was also sea turtle friends eating off the rocks on the shore every evening. Thank you!

This place is a little older and quieter than some of the places to stay in west Maui. This was our second time here and we love it. Please don’t stay here so it’s easier for us to get it when we want it lol.

We go to Maui annually, and we stay in this unit. Pretty much plan our vacation around its availability. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you would need, including a cupcake pan (which I've never used). New furniture in the living room and it's so comfortable, as is the king size bed. But my favorite thing about the unit is the "high" chairs on the lanai. I'm short and these chairs elevate me so that I do not have the blue bar directly in my line of sight.

The condo is well supplied with cooking gear, spices, and bathroom amenities. The washer and dryer was a life saver for our extended visit. Can't go wrong at the Makani Sands.

We have come to Maui every year or sometimes a couple times a year since 1990. We have stayed at just about every place on the west side and this place did not disappoint. Owner was easily reachable and flexible when we arrived a day early. Like we always say, if you are looking for someone to come out to the pool and say "may I bring you another drink" you may want to go to one of the big resorts, but you will deal with crowds and with little Trevor's temper tantrums and all the noise. If you want the real experience, and to be lulled to sleep every night by the surf on the water, this is the place. Fully equipped. The only thing not in the kitchen was a crock pot so we bought one and left it for you in appreciation for an always-good experience. See you next time.

Makani Sands was the perfect spot for us on our first trip to Hawaii and 21st wedding anniversary. The grounds are beautiful and the view is one in a million. Our room was just as advertised, perhaps even better than expected! We cannot wait to come back again! Thank you for an amazing week in paradise!
