Great place to stay in kauai. We were able to enjoy sunrise from the bedroom every morning. Very clean and equipped all appliances to cook meals. Would definitely recommend it.
Nice location close to Poipu beach and with a nice balcony overlooking the ocean. We were there in the summer and the AC (two portable units) was undersized. The unit (especially the master) felt warmer than the outside, even with the AC running. I was very warm at night which made it difficult to sleep. They could just have put a couple of floor fans in or an AC in the master, which I see a few other people have already commented on.
We loved our stay and the unit was great! Spacious, clean, a great ocean view with only a 10 min walk to the beach! It came with all of the amentities we needed and more! The property manager was great and the only thing we contacted him/her about was the TV and they fixed it right away! Would definitely stay here again and recommend it!
Great condo close to Poipu Beach! We were able to see turtles on the beach each evening/morning. Complex has a nice path along the coastal cliff to watch the waves crash and turtles swim by. Would happily stay here again. Thx for sharing the unit with us!
Property is well maintained and clean. This unit is also well-maintained and clean. The east facing ocean view is wonderful for viewing the sunrise! Fabulous sunrises!!This end unit was very quiet and peaceful.We will return.
We enjoyed our stay at this property. It was very comfortable and close to everything.
The unit needs to be cleaned well and updated. It has a sunrise view, probably nicer before the recent construction. Sunset views can be had within the property. The complex is nicely maintained. Kitchen supplies were adequate, more mixing bowls, tupperware containers and a tea kettle would be nice additions. The smoke detector was beeping. Mgmt did not respond to text. Lightbulbs burned out. Drapes and sofa were dirty. Window in secondary bedroom is broken, did not open. Water and sun damage to flooring. Lots of corroded fixtures, likely due to salt air. These units are selling for over a million dollars, this unit could be quite luxurious with a refresh. Also, damage deposit required, not in initial rental agreement.

Stayed for a long weekend and the place was everything we needed. The apartment was clean and had all the essentials we needed for our stay. The property was easy to access and had ample parking. The access to the coast and the nearby beaches was great and an amazing way to start and/or end the day.

The appartment was stacked with everything you need. The beach is 15-20 minute walk.
The condo was nice but some things need attention like the sliding doors to balcony were extremely hard to open and close but otherwise was a good stay.
Fantastic property. Has everything you need. Comfy beds, comfy couches, big bedrooms, well equipped kitchen, lovely decor, great stereo system with provided CDs to keep you in the Hawaiian mood, incredible ocean views and tennis/pickle ball/pool and hot tub amenities are excellent.

We had a lovely stay near Poipu at Makahuena. The condo was spacious, clean, and conveniently located. We could easily walk to both Poipu and Shipwreck Beaches. The kitchen was well stocked. The ocean views and sounds of the crashing waves were great. We even saw whales in the distance on our first morning.
We will really miss having our morning coffee and evening cocktails on the balcony watching sunrises and sunsets. We even saw the occasional whale spouts.
The ocean view condo is in a great location. Walking trail starts next to complex. Wonderful beaches are quick drive. Staying and hanging at the lovely pool and jacuzzi is another great option. Don't forget to smell the plumeria on the way to pool.
The unit is comfortable with a kitchen set up with what you need to make meals in unit. The smart, big screen TV is great when taking break from sun or evening entertainment. The trade winds keep the unit cool most days, but on calm days, the ACs came in handy. Be sure to point the living room one toward main bedroom and put ceiling fans on to distribute the cool air.
The unit has some basics for laundry, dishes etc. and there is a nice cordless vacuum in the second bedroom closet. The unit is a bit dated, but it was very comfortable for us.
We would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay and it is a very nice apartment. Take note: there are 2 portable air conditioners. One in the living room and the other in the second bedroom. It was warm in the main bedroom. Also up and down steps to get to the apartment. Note that for luggage movement.
The location is excellent. The apartment is next to a hiking trail that was right next to the ocean and very beautiful. There’s a beach 5 minutes drive away where turtles and seals rest.
Kauai is a beautiful and expensive island.
We liked the apartment and location very much.
The apartment was clean, however, the windows and curtains, and the mirror behind the couch were not clean at all. We were not able to clearly see the outside.
The screen of the window in the master bedroom was broken. So, we did not open the lower part of the window. The skirt around the master bed was dirty.
The dishwasher did not clean the dishes; I finally stopped using it. Probably the filters need to be cleaned. There was no rinse agent for the dishwasher.
Sand from towels or bags from the third floor covered the tables and chairs on the balcony twice.
The dishes and utensils in the kitchen were sufficient; I like to have some more forks and knives, also a water heater for preparing tea would be good.
We would consider booking this place again if the windows and curtains were clean.

Property was clean. Had everything we needed for the stay. The property is an old building. It could use the addition of an exhaust vent in the bathrooms. Could not find the light switch( if there was any) to the outside terrace.
