Loved being so close to the ocean, the view, beaches close by. Everything was awesome from location to cleanliness. Very comfortable for our group of seven.
What a great place to stay. Lots of room for six adults; but roll out couch wasn't as comfy for our 7th person. Loved being so close to the ocean!

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed this condo unit. It's a very clean unit, well equipped and the development grounds are beautiful and well kept. The location was perfect for us. The pool, and ocean views are just steps away. Poipu Beach and restaurants are a stroll or short drive. The use of beach equipment and a wagon were a real plus!
This gem is nestled in the perfect spot! A walking trail leads you to Shipwrecked Beach and you can easily walk along the road to Poipu Beach Park in the opposite direction. Although we drove to the beaches when we were going to set up camp but being able to walk to see a sunset is perfect! The unit was welcoming and served our family well. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare dinners. We enjoyed eating and playing games at the dining room table. Sitting on the lanai was very relaxing in the morning. Our sons enjoyed walking to the scenic lookout and watching the crashing waves along the cliffs just steps from the unit. The pool and spa were very refreshing and nice in the evening when you wanted to unwind after a day at the beach. The air conditioning units work amazing! The beds were comfortable. We truly appreciated having the washer and dryer. This is a wonderful place to stay! Recommendations: Tunnels Beach, located in north shore, has the best snorkeling. Parking is limited so get there early (8am)! Brennecke’s Shaved Ice in Poipu was the best and Lampert’s Ice Cream in Poipu was super tasty!
Places was great. More than enough room for my family of 6. Ground floor made it convenient going to the pool. Great views of the ocean, very close to Poipu Beach
The condo had a good amount of space, making it comfortable for a large family. However, the queen room had a strong urine smell that was hard to ignore. We ended up purchasing air fresheners in order improve its small. The main bathroom also had that small. The kitchen was very basic. The water pressure was poor and hot water in the showers were inconsistent. We were also disappointed with the limited pool hours, the fact that we were allowed access at 9am which seems late.
We enjoyed the location and amenities of this rental. Overall we gave it 4/5 given the condition of rental from a cleanliness standpoint wasn't the best. It certainly wasn't a dealbreaker or worth raising concerns over. The pocket and sliding doors could use some good maintenance. Would definitely stay here again.
Our stay for a family wedding was great. We had no problems and our questions were quickly answered even though we asked late on a Sunday. Location was perfect.
We stayed in this condo for one week, and loved every minute of it. Simple check-in process, condo was very clean, lots of space, and we appreciated the a/c!! Just steps to the pool, and the most amazing ocean view. We couldn't have asked for anything more. If we ever come back to Kauai, I would book this property again in a heartbeat!
Beautiful condo & grounds, great location. This place has a very practical set-up for families & extended families, and everything you need to feel at home. Meticulously clean, a beautiful pool and grilling area, and lovely patio to relax on. Perfect!
The condo grounds were beautiful. The condo itself is nicely situated near the ocean lookout, pool, and BBQ. There is a walking path nearby that takes you towards the Grand Hyatt and you are within walking distance to Poipu Beach. The kitchen had most everything we needed, the AC was a huge plus, the in unit washer/dryer were perfect (especially with the weather, wet towels don't seem to dry, it was nice to throw them in the dryer when we got back) and the ground floor lanai is nice to relax. Only downside for us was the bed/pillows, both weren't very comfortable for our liking.

Overall a very nice stay, loved the beaches, loved koala town, did four dives while on island and I must say that the Sheridan tunnels were fantastic
Overall terrific stay at this condo. Short walk to Poipu Beach and the Grand Hyatt. Kitchen and bathrooms well stocked so didn't need to purchase anything except food. Lots of beach chairs, umbrellas, and toys which was great. Only down side to this unit is no privacy for the master bedroom. It is fairly open to the living room and shares a bathroom with one of the other bedrooms.
Condo is exactly as advertised. Well-stocked kitchen. Very responsive host. Great beaches and hiking trails nearby. The cliff-side hiking trail was a favorite sunrise activity - with visible whales. The lookout point on the property was beautiful too.

Overall the unit was as advertised and provided our family of 5 lots of space. We loved having all of the beach items that came with the rental (snorkel gear, boogie boards, sand toys, beach chairs, umbrella...)! The kitchen was fully stocked and also kid friendly with plastic cups, plates, bowls. We had one question about where to find parking passes and owners responded instantly to our text and also email during our stay to ensure everything was going well. Location is also great with a short drive to Poipu Beach, hiking trails along the beach, and lots of restaurant options with 5-10 minute drive.

The condo looked exactly like the pictures online. It was spotless! It had so many amenities…especially if you have young children (we did not). There are plenty of beach toys, and towels. Also extremely roomy. There’s a beautiful pool and hiking trails nearby. The owners were very responsive! We really enjoyed our stay and time in Kauai. I would definitely stay again!
Our family of six adults enjoyed our stay at Jeremy’s place. The facilities are solid…as described. The location is excellent. The hikes along the cliffs toward the Grand Hyatt and beyond are excellent. The short drive to Poipu beach for snorkeling and surfing is easy. The grill is also great
We had the best time in Poipu! The condo was fabulous! The location of the complex and the specific unit was perfect! The patio is close to the pool and the entrance to the unit easy to access and not up flights of stairs! The host was easy to contact and reached out after we arrived with a cell number! Book this unit, it was amazing. Well stocked, clean and comfortable!!!
We really enjoyed our stay at Makahuena. The condo was clean and a perfect fit for our group of 7 (4 adults, 3 younger kids). The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. The pool was right outside our door and enjoyed by everyone in our group. The condo was also very close to the beach, shopping, and restaurants.
We loved our time in this condo! Family of 6 and we had plenty of room, well stocked and clean. The location can't be beat in Poipu, you are literally 30 yards from the patio to the cliffs overlooking the ocean and easy 15 min walk to the beach. Property manager was attentive but we didn't really need anything, everything was as it should be. Would definitely recommend staying here!
Photos are accurate and plenty of space for our family. A few things could be replaced or deep cleaned. They had everything we needed and our kids appreciated the sand toys. Overall nice stay.
Our party had two ladies in their 80s and four other ladies, mid 50s to mid 60s. We were able to hear the waves crashing in and watched beautiful sunrises and sunsets. We thoroughly enjoyed this property. Pool was great too!!! Bbq area was great too! Pickleball court was great too.
