Loved everything about this property and location! Would stay again!!
My husband and I stayed here for the first half of our honeymoon… it is RIGHT on the water. The views are literally breathtaking. We saw probably 100 whales and tons of turtles from the balcony. It’s also walking distance to food trucks and restaurants, we would love to visit again!!
We loved this place! Very clean and fresh condo, but the Mahana itself is awesome. Convenient free parking spot a few steps away from the elevator, keypad entry to the room so you don’t need to remember to carry any key to the beach, incredible views of a lively ocean with constant whales and turtles… we definitely want to come back one day. This condo unit at the Mahana was simply perfect for my week-long stay. The unit overlooks the beach, offers unobstructed views of the islands of Lanai and Molokai, and was perfect for sitting outside and listening to the crashing waves at night. The furnishings on the patio were comfortable and ideal for lounging in the sun, watching Maui's gorgeous sunsets at night, and I can't imagine a better place to whale watch during the season. The unit is stocked with everything you need to enjoy the beach, including beach chairs, towels, and boogie boards.
The inside of the unit is bright and welcoming with an incredibly comfortable King-sized bed, a fully stocked kitchen, a washer/dryer, and a wonderfully bright bathroom. Everything was very fresh feeling and up-to-date. The building is in a great spot with plentiful parking and several restaurants, coffee shops, and food trucks conveniently located a short walk away. The boardwalk/pathway to Whaler's Village is accessible just past the end of the grass on the property, which made for an easy option to walk along the coast.
Finally, I loved the host. He was unfailingly responsive and was a pleasure to deal both with before and during the trip. I 100% recommend this rental!
Highlights:
View is incredible, feels like you’re on a cruise ship the water is right there.
Access to washer/dryer with washing powder makes travel easy
Extra sets of towels were very handy also
Full kitchen allows you to cook, or for us to chop up great fresh fruit
Parking is free and on site
Great wireless charger/dock so no need for travel adapters if you have USB-A cables.
Access to a cooler bag/Esky with frozen bricks in the freezer makes day tripping a little easier.
Louis was a good communicator, and answers every message quickly and with aloha.
Lowlights
Location is very good but just enough out of the way that you’ll need a hire car to stay here or be in and out of Ubers. It’s close to the hourly bus though.
There’s a bit of noise as it’s right next to the lift and the neighbours, and the light that comes through the front door disturbs sleep a little bit.
The blackout blinds were good but let just enough light in to wake us up at sunrise everyday.
Louis is a great host, he communicated very well with us, made sure we had everything we needed. The place is as described, awesome view. Will definitely want to come back next time we’re in Maui.
Lou’s was excellent as a host. Flawless communication, check in was easy and the condo had everything needed for one night or several days stay.

Great facility, great views, beach and close to all amenities
Our host was great and the pictures do not do this place justice! Just breathtaking! We saw whales and turtles from the balcony everyday, will definitely be coming back again! Maui is amazing!
We loved the convenience of living at the edge of the old town of Lahaina and being able to walk into town, for bites to eat, happy hour, whale-watching tours, or shopping. There are many great places to eat close by. All this after an early morning stroll on the beach. View of sunrise and sunset from the balcony was great. Would love to come again.
What a lovely condo and amazing host. We really enjoyed our stay at this condo and would book again. Super close to everything downtown Lahaina and literally steps to the water. It's not the best beach to spend hours at, but for a nice float or practicing stand up paddle boarding, it's perfect. The patio is absolutely lovely for sunset drinks or dinner. Fun fact, there's a pretty nice luau next door that, should you be happening to walk down the beach while it's in progress, you can watch the after dinner show right from the beach. Louis is an amazing host!
This property is perfect! The condo is beautiful inside and out! We loved the view from the lanai-so many whales and turtles. And we also loved the ocean, it’s in a rocky part of the island, but it was perfect to sit in your beach chair in the ocean and enjoy the view! It’s also a short walk to front street, so there’s really no need to rent a car or drive anywhere. We walked to the abc store close by a few times and we were set! The owner is so amazing as well. We were just staycationing from another part of Maui, and they got the room ready for us a little early as they assumed we’d be in close proximity, so kind! I’d highly recommend this lovely condo for a couple wanting to enjoy Lahaina and all it has to offer 🌺☀️🐳🌴🏝 enjoy!

Overall great experience. Property was very central to everything we wanted to do in Maui and walking distance to downtown Lahaina. Would definitely stay again if on Maui!
