Love this unit....the tv remote setup is terrible ..so difficult to get a response for channel changing, volume control, getting the guide up. We don't watch much tv but want it at times. We probably won't go back to this unit because of the tv. Other than that....Perfection!

Ma'alaea Surf Resort is a beautifully maintained resort with lush gardens. The two pools were crystal clear and a joy for my sunset swims. Unit D-5 was a pleasure. I enjoyed the stylish, comfortable furniture, tile floor, stone countertops, and best view of ocean and open sky. Management is on top of all aspects of building maintenance and guest concerns

We just loved everything about our stay at Maalaea Surf resort and unit D5. This was our third visit to this resort, first time with just my husband (we were celebrating our 35th anniversary). There was not one thing I would have changed in the décor of D5. It was very tastefully appointed with nice upgrades and just very realxing. As always, we love the view, the beach, the pool and the gas grills. We love how quiet and beautifully maintained this resort is. We look forward to a return visit soon to Maalaea Surf resort and hopefully again to unit D5! Just wonderful!!

The rental process was very easy, the resort even reached out to us ahead of time to let us know one of the units in our building was being renovated while we were there.
