Another wonderful Maui trip in the books! This unit was great. Clean, well maintained with everything you could possibly need. Maalaea has became our go to area to stay for each trip due to its central, quiet location. Watching sea turtles from the balcony daily was the best part! We will check availability of this unit upon returning! Thank you for a great time!
My husband and I stayed at this wonderful condo with our adult kids (18, 21 and our 24 joined us for part of the trip). Not only was the condo spotless and updated but the view was spectacular! The beds were so comfortable and we all slept so well. Even the sheets were nice and soft.
The kitchen is updated and has everything you could need to prepare some meals. I especially appreciated that it wasn’t just cheap IKEA cookware that we have encountered.
We stayed for 10 days over Christmas. We were able to spend time as a family watching movies and most importantly the beach. We have been to all the islands and travel all over the world as well as having been to Maui previously. We all agreed that Ma’alaea is the best location for navigating the whole island and the weather. We ventured to other beaches and it would start raining so we would head back to “our” beach and it seemed to always be sunny. The reef in front of the condo was great snorkeling. We saw turtles daily and on Christmas Day a pod of whales entertained the whole beach with breaching, etc. We felt comfortable leaving our items on the beach and all going in the water together. Having recently visited Thailand, you aren’t able to do that on the beaches.
We enjoyed the aquarium and the pizza place (Point Break) that you can walk to from the condo. Kihei is 15 mins away so we headed to the food trucks and restaurants there often. We will definitely return to this gem of a condo.
My family and I enjoyed our stay thoroughly! Check-in was a breeze with the keypad and to be quite honest, we never even used the actual physical key for the top lock at all during our stay...it was that convenient and not necessary.
Slight delay on check-in as the housekeeper wasn't expecting us a few hours before standard check-in, 45 minute delay but no biggie as Lindi and Jim were wonderful enough to allow us to check in early in the first place.
We couldn't have asked for a better location for our stay. Everything was a short drive away, from the airport (about 15 minutes away) to other bordering counties, and we found the central location to be very convenient.
The dock for our Molokini snorkeling boat was less than a mile away. My daughter and I were the ones to go out on that excursion and upon our return I told my wife to look outside the balcony only to find my daughter and I waving as we passed by. So much fun!
Other pluses...the kitchen was well stocked, even had some essentials like cooking oil, salt, pepper, coffee filters, etc. Ceiling fan in every room including the bathrooms. Air conditioning a huge plus if you arent used to the humidity.
There isn' direct beach access from the back but during the morning and early afternoon low tieds, there is a pathway from the left side of the property that leads directly to the neighboring beach. We never braved the pathway, but did see others using it during our stay. Do note, however, the keep out signs.
This unit was very comfortable and wonderful for our family and I’m sure we would have greatly enjoyed our stay. Unfortunately we had to evacuate due to the Maui fires but the owner was fantastic in communication and worked with VRBO to refund our money which was not expected but VERY appreciated. We are praying for all those affected by the wildfires and hopefully if we make it back we’ll be able to stay here again. Thank you so much.
The condo was great, just as the pictures show. The view is awesome and it was clean and updated. The owners were easy to work with and my questions to them were answered in a very timely manner. Our family rented a total of 3 condos in this building for a family vacation and the location was perfect. Many memories were made during our stay. Thank you so much for allowing us the use of your beautiful home.
Absolutely pristine condo with amazing views. Beds were very comfortable. Location is great for going to different parts of the island. Beach is a quick walk. Highly recommend.
We were so thrilled with our stay at this condo! We could not get enough of the view from the balcony and the sound of the waves. The condo had plenty of space for the 4 of us and had everything we could possibly need. It was decorated nicely and was very clean when we arrived. The beds were very comfortable and the air conditioning helped at times when we wanted to cool down. The location was centrally located: 20-25 minutes to Lahaina, the airport and Kihei. We especially enjoyed the fact that it was quiet at night and we could sit on the balcony and really relax! We would use this condo again!
This is a lovely property! Oceanfront, very comfortable beds, updated bathrooms, kitchen. Very nice living area funiture - even a desk and great internet. Every time we needed something in the kitchen we found it. Clearly a lot of thought was put into what guests might need while there. Towels were plentiful. And views of the beautiful West Maui hills from the entrance side of the condo. An island-central location meant it was close to the airport, and not far from many of the locations we wanted to visit. Miles of beach to walk just two buildings away. The owner was very resonsive to questions pre-visit, and things were so great that there was no need to contact the owner during the visit. I'd highly recommend this condo.
This was a great place to stay. The property is thoughtfully appointed, centrally located, and clean.
It is on the water near the beach and offers great views. We saw beautiful sunrises, wales, and a turtle.
This property is the definition of perfection. Clean, comfortable, safe, and well-stocked. The view from the lanai is spectacular and the location is exactly where you’d want to be to explore many parts of Maui. The owners have everything you need to maximize your vacation experience. From beach chairs to binoculars, you’ll find it all here! And the air conditioning works wonderfully!
The ONLY possible negative thing that I could say is the demographics of this condo complex are mainly older folks. This is great because it’s quiet, but when there are several kids playing in the community pool, they get visibly annoyed. BUT, we didn’t experience any issues other than a few eye rolls.
