Check in took over 45 minutes. After a long day of travel, that was not ideal. There was splattered coffee on the wall in the dining room when we got to the room, so clearly cleaning was not done.Had to ask for toilet paper three separate days. Garbage accumulated in room with housekeeping only being one day. Had we known where to put garbage or if there was a garbage shoot, we could have dumped it. The balcony was lovely with great views. We needed the one king room and the two double bed room. However we received the one king with two twins. I know that the room arrangement is not determined until you arrive, but this doesn’t make sense. You should be able to pay for the view you want and the bed arrangement that you want/need, instead of it being a surprise at check in.Housekeeping was very responsive with additional bedding!One night our smoke detector started beeping at 3:30 am. Not ideal. Maintenance was quick to arrive once we told management of the issue. Pools too busy every day. I was traveling with my 86 year old parents and could never get a seat at the pool.
I definitely recommend the condos at Hilton Hawaiian Village. The property was wonderful. There were a ton of things to do. Great pools and great beach. I would suggest bringing water shoes because the ocean is a bit rocky but fine with water shoes and so beautiful. Michele was great. She called me to make sure I understood everything. The condo was beautiful and had an ocean view. One of the hotel workers who worked the front desk was wry rude and refused to help us when we had a problem but otherwise we have no complaints on our stay. It was perfect!

We had such an enjoyable time. The Condo was very clean, large, fully equipped with anything you may need. The location on the property was more then perfect! The staff was so friendly and accommodating! We will definitely be back.
