Resort Style with Hula Show, Fireworks and even Tiki Torches!

This is the greatest condo ever! Great location, and amenities. The host was fabulous, great communication. The view from the lanai is stunning.

The view of the Friday night fireworks from our room was absolutely incredible and ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. The pools were nice and warm, and it was great having such easy access to both the beach and the Duke Kahanamoku Lagoon just a short walk from the lobby. The location is very convenient, with a quick walk to Ala Moana and the rest of Waikiki, but it still feels a little bit removed from the busiest part of the strip, which we really appreciated.Having shops and places to grab snacks and coffee right in the lobby was a big plus for our family and made everything easier. The room itself had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including a kitchen setup, and worked perfectly as our home base while we explored Honolulu. Overall, highly recommend staying here and would definitely book the Ilikai again.

We only had one issue and that was air conditioning. It was hot in the hallways and the unit has a window air condition. We’re thinking maybe that’s a Hawaii thing.

Great area

Christy is the consummate Hawaiian host who exudes the Aloha spirit from making the reservation, through timely answering of my many questions, and in the personal care she takes with the detailed appointments of the unit. The Ilikai is centrally located to get to Waikiki, Ala Moana, or to drive onto H1. We got a perfect view of the Friday night fireworks from the Lanai. Much Mahalo, RJ

Christy is very responsive and an excellent host. We enjoyed the balcony and watching the fireworks. Ilikai is in an excellent location and within walking distance of the beach, Ala Moana shopping center and many restaurants.

Check in was super easy. Kitchen had everything we needed.

Amazing! Me and my husband stayed here for 8 days, and everything was perfect. The location was superb, the apartment was really nice and clean, the view from the spacious balcony was really pretty. And parking was no problem, lots of options near by. Cathy had made everything very easy for us. All instructions were spot on. The beautiful walk to the city center took us about 20 minutes. If you are in doubt wether to book or not, don’t hesitate; hit «book» as fast as you can!

Our family absolutely loved this property! Very clean and perfectly located to beach, shopping, restaurants. Property offers complimentary luau on Friday on patio downstairs and Hilton Hawaiian Village fireworks show which we enjoyed from our balcony. We will definitely stay again... Mahalo Christy!

The unit looked exactly like the listing. It was well stocked and very clean. The host was easy to communicate with and left really good instructions along with recommendations.

This is our second time staying there. The king size bed is very comfortable. The condo has everything you need to feel like you’re at home. This property was exactly as advertised. The 2 pools are great. You won't find a better spot to see the Hilton Hawaiian Village Friday night fireworks!

This was a wonderful place, with great unobstructed views of the lagoon, fireworks and pool area. We were without three month old so it was n ie to peer down and see which pool had shade before making our way down 11 levels. The kitchen was well stocked. I really loved how Christy had plenty of coffee and cleaning supplies so we did t have to go buy things for the week we were there. I was thankful for the rolling wall that partitioned off the bed from the rest of the place so I could put the baby down and still hang out in the evening.

Wonderful stay for 2 adults, 2 kids over the Christmas holiday. If you want simple convenience, without frills or luxury, this is a perfect place. In Hawaii at resorts you can often feel nickle and dimed for everything, and this is a nice alternative with all the conveniences self-serve at your fingertips. The Friday hula show and fireworks were a special perk!! As former O’ahu residents returning for the holiday, this was absolutely perfect. -I was unable to find pic or clarify via reviews, so want to note that this is a studio vice a true 1BR. There is a sliding tatami style wall you can use for privacy but if you are two couples you should be very comfortable with each other as you will be sharing one room. -If you want to use Kahanamoku beach right by the Ilikai, recommend bringing water shoes as this is a very very rocky/coral beach once you are in the water. You can walk a ways toward Waikiki for softer sand. With kids, the water shoes were essential. -Most everything was open on Christmas, and the Ilikai store with the essentials you need is open 24 hours/365 days a year! We were wondering about this traveling for the holidays. -Ilikai harbor parking was $33/day during our stay with in and out. Ubers to Waikiki when we didn’t want to walk were about $5 each way! Absolutely loved this property and location, super convenient, great communicative host, and laid back easy O’ahu vacation.

Christy (the host) was the best to work through VRBO customer service issues. She's very patient and was always available. Truly a remarkable host. The pictures of the condo property are right on, and the view from the lanai is spectacular. The condo was very clean and stocked with most of what you would find at your home. The partition to block off bed area from the living space is a bonus and was much appreciated for those going to bed early. Bed was comfortable. It was a bonus to have beach chairs, towels, boogie boards, umbrella, and if you have children, there are some pool/beach items for them as well. From our lanai, there was no noise from the pool area, nor anywhere in our area. We were able to view 2 Hula shows from our lanai that were taking place across the street at the Hilton. Plus, there's a Friday Hula Show within the courtyard of the Ilikai. Wakaki Beach is within walking distance, as is many restaurants, shops, or sunset boat cruises. We were up every day to see the sunrise from our lanai and then view the sunset which is just a few minutes' walk to the beach. Pesca restaurant elevator was great for a bird's eye view of the harbor and sunset. Food and service were excellent. The Ilikai and this condo added to the best part of our 8-day trip to Oahu. Looking forward to returning and would only stay at the condo. Thank you, Christy, for the effort that you put forth to make this condo a great place to stay for your guests.

The location and view of this property was outstanding. However the protestors from the Hilton Hawaiian village were very loud starting at 7 am they would move around the other side of the building. We weren’t able to enjoy the balcony or the pool. Hopefully this strike will be over soon . Otherwise a lovely stay.

Stay was good however with the strike next door it was loud and also we had paid extra for late check out it was not communicated to the cleaning crew

This is our second time staying here. We love the location, views and able to watch the fireworks from the balcony. Christy is a wonderful host, great communication. Clean, spacious and has all the beach gadgets for our use. Will def book again.

Perfect location in Honolulu, close to lots of shopping, dining, and Waikiki Beach. Clean, secure and comfortable. Would stay there again in a heartbeat 😊

Everything is excellentexcept the hallway and elevator inside the building has no air conditioning, a bit hot if you stay for a while.

The property is situated in such a way as to be close to Waikiki but away from the noise. You have a great ocean view and front row seats for Friday Waikiki fireworks. I will definitely stay here again.

Very convenient, relaxing and beautiful.

Christy’s condo is very nice! We hated to leave. Great view of the lagoon and beach. Watched the luau almost every night on top of hotel across the street. Great view of fireworks on Friday evening, let off right on lagoon beach. You can walk to most places, but we also took Uber. Take the island tour, stops at various places, we really liked the Rock A Hula Luau at the Royal Hawaiian Center. Condo is very clean, has everything you need, Christy is quick to respond. My parents and I had a quick but wonderful stay at this property! The condo was cozy and well-equipped, even with an unexpectedly needed first aid kit! Great location, and the coffee shop and restaurants in the building was super convenient and tasty! We would stay again!

The condo was perfect! The owner was extremely helpful and communication was immediate. We have stayed at several VRBO properties and this was by far the best. The Hula was authentic and the fireworks spectacular. Thank you for sharing your beautiful condo !

The apartment was extremely well equipped and the location was very safe. It was easy for us to get to everything we wanted to do. Highly recommend this apartment.

We were beyond happy with this stay. The condo itself is well stocked and comfortable. The views were beyond compare. This was by far our favourite vacation and the accommodation played a huge role. Mornings were spent sipping a coffee while admiring the view. I will never forget the view. Comfortable bed, fully stocked kitchen, spacious bathroom. The location was perfect, we walked the entirety of Waikiki beach every day. Best stay ever - truly hope to return.

This is an extremely well kept condo unit in the older but well maintained ilikai hotel. The condo was well stocked with basic items like toilet paper, paper towel, saran wrap etc. Two types of coffee makers (kurig and normal drip) and everything you need to cook your own meals. The condos view is amazing and there is lots to see. The location of this hotel is in a more quiet area of wiakiki so that is also very nice. Definitely a 5* condo experience. Special thanks to the gracious host who communicated well.

Christy is such an awesome host. She communicates very promptly. Her unit at the Ilikai is really beautiful and well stocked with an awesome view. Due to the unfortunate fire in the electrical room in January, it caused a few issues with the elevators and power outages. The staff worked really hard to recify these issues. We didn't let this ruin our stay and we didn't want to leave paradise. We would love to come back to stay here again. Mahalo Christy!

Christy’s property is amazing! This is our 6th trip to Oahu from Canada. We stayed for 11½ days...right until 9pm, when we had to head to the airport. It was great! This location by far has been the best we’ve been to! Christy was very easy to communicate with and checking in & out was the easiest ever! The condo unit is in the perfect spot in Waikiki...can see the Luau across the street on top of the Hilton and the fireworks display on Fridays, is incredible. Just below, the property has 2 beautiful pools we had access to with chairs, umbrellas, etc to enjoy the gorgeous weather. The condo is perfect for families as the large pull out sofa bed is super comfortable as is the king size bed! The balcony opens up to a spectacular view of the lagoon, the ocean and the harbor is just next door. Christie even bought a Keurig coffee maker with pods when we asked if her unit had one! So thoughtful & generous of her! The kitchen has absolutely everything you need to cook anything you want. Laundry facilities so pack light. We enjoyed Dave’s ice cream shop, the Italian coffee shop and there is a convenience store in the lobby. There is a car rental desk & an Oahu activities desk. You can pay $24 a day to park in the open air lot or do like us and pay $150 for a month. We can’t wait to go back! The saddest part was having to go home to the bitter cold. Thanks so much Christy, we had the best time ever and thanks for being such a great host! We hope to return paradise soon!

So close to so many places in Waikiki, easy to navigate the condo and either use their restaurants or walk to something close by.
