Stunning property in a beautiful location in Poipu Kai resort. Very close to a lovely pool with BBQ area. The villa is well equipped for both adults and kids. The host is very responsive and helpful. Within 5 minutes walk from Poipu beach where the sea turtles come out to sleep on the beach at sunset. Also only a 5 minute walk to the Hyatt with its amazing grounds and the koi - fish food is provided to feed the fish!We will definitely be back!!
Amazing place with everything we needed and more. Loved the location, all the on site activities, in condo offerings, and the area in general. Could not have been better!
This beautiful 3 bed/3 bath unit was perfect for our family trip. We had three married couples (2 retired parents and two married kids) plus an 18 month old. The unit was clean and efficient. Lots of toys for the toddler. Short walk to the beach. Easy access to everything else Kauai has to offer. Just a great stay. We hope to stay at Sugar Sands again sometime!
We had an excellent stay in this beautiful home. Great location to the beach and town. The pool in the complex is beautiful as well! Loved the complex's walking path. Can't wait to go back.
The rental is within walking distance to Shipwreck, Brennecke's, and Poipu beaches. It was very clean and provided numerous kitchen appliances, utensils, and dishes. Beach gear including towels, beach chairs, a wagon, etc. were available for a group of 6 adults. The landscaping was beautiful, and we enjoyed spending time on the lanai. The condo is very close to the pool. Check-in was very easy, and the owners were quick to respond to any questions that we had.
This place had everything we needed! Everyone had their own spacious room and bathroom. The kitchen was full equipped so we cooked a few meals at home. The condo came with all the beach gear you could ever need (chairs, wagon, boogie boards). And this was our first time traveling with our under one year old, so having a pack and play and high chair at the condo was a huge help! The pool on site was warm and never too crowded. Poipu beach and Shipwrecks beach were a quick walk away. We had a great family trip and will be back!!!
Beautiful 3 bedroom condo. Perfect for a family of six adults plus a toddler. Pool, hot tub and grill right outside the front door (gated for safety). The beach a short walk away with a wagon to pull the baby, towels, chairs and beach toys. Poipu beach is great for kids and snorkeling and turtles. You will need a car. Best place for groceries is Costco near the airport.

We had an amazing stay in this villa with a family of 5 (3 children) and grandparents. The proximity to both pool and beach was wonderful and we loved how walkable everything was from the greenbelt right outside the door. The layout of the villa was perfect for our needs. We hope to return some day!

So many positives. Too many to list. Our group was a family of 7 with three small kids, parents, and 2 grandparents. The kids enjoyed the bedroom including the sleep pad. The villa is very kid friendly (high chair, pack n play, toys, etc). The villa is very well finished with a nice lanai. The pool and hot tub is steps from the front door. The villa came with so many beach chairs, umbrella, toys for the kids that we could not use them all. To get to the beach you just turn left off the lanai and keep walking. About 15 mins with small kids. That beach is so fantastic for small kids. There is a little protected area on the beach that is like a 1 ft deep pool in the ocean with a sandy bottom. So great for little kids. You can also snorkel right there in the 4 ft deep area. There are also Hawaiian sea turtles that rest on the beach at this spot. We even saw a whale in the distance. If you walk off the lanai in the other direction The green belt walking path takes you to the Grand Hyatt about 10-15 min walk. The Luau there is fabulous. I had a small issue during our stay (no shampoo in the shower pump) and the owner had this resolved the same day. I highly recommend this villa if you want to stay in the Poipu area.
Beautiful accommodation with everything we needed. Perfect layout for two families (4 kids). The pool hit the spot and we loved walking down to the beach every day. Hope we can come back again!
Perfect location and amenities for two families. Walking distance to a great beach for kids/toddlers, a park, & turtle viewing. Pool was also very family friendly and clean. The beach and pool toy collection was also perfect. The house was clean and well stocked for cooking.
Condo is a great layout with lots of items for toddlers. Great walk to the beach. Property manager is quick to respond to questions and concerns. Reccomend!
This has been the best VRBO we've rented yet. So clean and well appointed with comfy beds and great location! Justin and William were very responsive but we really didn't need a thing! Everything was perfect!
We enjoyed being able to walk to the beach or just hang around the pool. The unit had everything we needed. Shops and food were convenient to get to. Great support from the owner.

We enjoyed our stay in the villa it was in the perfect location to walk to the beach and eateries. The patio was our favorite place to hang out and eat our meals and relax. Would highly recommend staying here for your next vacation.

The villa was perfect for our family of 4 adults and 2 16 month old twin boys. The inside layout worked great for our needs and furnishings were comfortable. Loved the garden level and close location to the pool. The easy access to the walking trail was super convenient for beach and adjacent hotel access.
We traveled in a group with two families with younger kids. We found the unit to be clean, updated and comfortable. The location was perfect for walking to the beach and the grounds were very well maintained. The unit owners were very responsive and check in was smooth. Overall, it was a great stay.
Sugar Sands was a wonderful place for our family to gather and celebrate a special birthday and new birth!
The location, just steps from the path to the beach, was wonderful. All the beach items were there to use including a wagon. The kitchen was well appointed for cooking family meals and the beds were comfy.

The condo is very comfortable, we loved opening the doors to the lanai. It's a convenient location - we were able to walk to the beach, trails and even to get takeout. Each day was a different drive to explore various areas around the island - each having it's own beauty. A great stay !!
Fantastic home, well equipped for families including kids, as advertised, we were a family of 4 (kids 8 and 5) plus my mother and father in law. Everyone had fun. Excellent location. Lots to do. Facilities of compound were good although water in the pool was very cold (hot tub nice). Good gym. We went for daily excellent walks/hikes from the villa. Wagon and beach guys were nice touch. Appliances and living spaces, bedrooms all great. Highly recommend!
Clean and newer condition - hard to find in Kauai! Ground floor unit so upstairs with kids running around can get noisy but is expected. The spaciousness, cleanliness and condition of the place made it extremely comfortable.
Great location and place to stay. Stove didn’t work and worker sent out promptly to fix. Compensated us for inconvenience.
