Great place to stay near Kaanapali. The unit was very clean, the grounds were well maintained, the check in was easy, and the views were nice.

Great location with an easy walk to restaurants and a beautiful ocean view from the lanai. It was clean we when arrived and we could easily cook in the kitchen because we had everything we needed (cookware, utensils and glassware). The location on the corner of the building gave us such a nice breeze that we didn't even need the AC.
My Family and I visit Hawaii annually. Our stay at Papakea was easily the nicest of any rental property on any of the various islands from our previous vacations throughout the years. The beauty of the property is striking. From the balcony you overlook a small putting green in the common area. Directly below the balcony a fountain drowns out the the noise of neighbors and children playing. And just beyond the greens a beautiful view of the Pacific and Molokai. The kitchen is large and up to date and has the essentials needed to fix a meal. The fridge has an ice maker, there’s a blender, WASHER/DRYER and everything is clean and in useful condition. There is a food truck meet up walking distance from the property with food decent enough to visit more than once. The beach near the property is small, rocky, and shared with the other resorts nearby. This was the only negative if we are being nit picky. I feel this property is best suited for families with grade school aged children. The pool, putting greens, and shuffle board area were teeming with young friendly families. Not much else needs to be said. Maui is wonderful, this stay made it so much more enjoyable.
Great location with access to beach, and short driving distance to Whaler's Village, and Front St. The Food Trucks within walking distance and the grocery store across the street were an added bonus!
We really enjoyed our stay at Papakea Resort and the return trip was just as wonderful!
This is our 9th trip to Maui, and Papakea Resort is our go to place to stay because of its perfect central location, beautiful, well kept grounds, and homelike accommodations in each unit. From the bedroom to the bathroom to the kitchen to the living room and the lanai, we had everything we needed for a very enjoyable and relaxing stay in Maui. The bathroom shower was spacious, and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to make many of our meals in the condo. We made good use of the bbq grills by the pool as well. We had a beautiful view of the ocean and the koi pond, and were able to watch the gorgeous sun setting over the water each evening. The Times market and a few eateries were conveniently located across the street that we could
Just walk to. This is the perfect place to stay for couples and families! We will definitely be back again!
Great unit with everything we needed and great location. Food truck park and convenience stores nearby. Property amenities and activities were a big plus!
Good location across the street from the beach, just a bit of a walk to Kona
We would highly recommend this resort and condo. The grounds of the resort were beautiful and we enjoyed the pool and watching the whales and sunsets from the properties edge. The condo was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked. Communication was perfect as well. We will definitely be back!
