Hosts were very quick to reply, excellent communication. Pest control did come by but that was unannounced and scared the kids. Not sure if the host was aware or if it was scheduled. Not a big deal and everyone was very nice and respectful, just some advanced warning would have helped.Location is excellent! Ground floor, easy to walk to the beach.All beds comfortable, couch was very comfortable. Nothing is ever perfect, but this place is as close as you can get! I would not hesitate to return.The only improvement I would make- one of those roomba vacuum/mop robots. Of course it's near impossible to keep tile floors clean being next to a beach. But first day walked around barefoot and feet ended up quite dirty. Again, not a complaint as much as a consideration for a small upgrade to make the place absolutely perfect. And that would help out the housekeeper after guests if they track sand in. Was very nice having the beach umbrella, chairs, cooler, and boogie board.Next time we visit Maui, I will try to book this same place, was absolutely a gem.

We were so happy with this location and the condo. It was perfect for our family to stay at. The balcony is so spacious and being able to walk right out to the beach and was a luxury. The condo was beautifully furnished and had everything we needed.
Comfortable condo near beach but also right near a busy street so quite a bit of street noise
Close to shops and restaurants. Furnishings could use a bit of an update but family enjoyed our stay.
The royal Mauian was the perfect stay for our family. The location is close in walking distance to everything you need and the distance to the beach is phenomenal.
This 3-br condo was perfect for our family with 5 adults and a toddler. Very convenient to be able to walk to the beach and to shopping. The condo was equipped with everything we needed for beach fun, and the kitchen had all the right tools! Property management was attentive and helped us facilitate renting necessary items (Crib, high chair, bathtub) for the baby. Loved our stay!
Pros: 3 br unit is rare. Plenty of space. Nice layout. Lovely ground floor view of ocean and access to beach.
Cons: Right next to the street. Lots of street noise. Somewhat chaotic area of town with lots of tourists, prople living in their cars along the road outside the unit. A tent stashed in the bushes right outside the unit. At least one person with possible mental health issues hanging out near the unit and yelling all night on one of tge nights. Roosters living in the brush right outside the unit that start crowing at 2am and continue all day.
Overall a beautiful location and the property management was lovely and hughly responsive. Unfortunately tgere were downsides to the location they had no control over. I would probably stay there again but would lower my expectations a bit.

We were able to walk to restaurants, shopping, and beaches. This also means lots of road noise. The pool is very lackluster but the grounds are lovely. Spotted several sea turtles and humpback whales, and enjoyed beautiful sunsets. The condo itself is tired and needs updating. The sheets would not stay on the mattress during the night so every morning the bottom sheet would be crumpled and pulled away. Not a huge thing, but an annoyance.
