Great property and location. It would be nice to have a starter coffee for first day and a small thing of salt and pepper. But the box of chocolates was a really nice treat. My family will return to this property next year. Thank you
This is a beautiful unit. We have stayed at Honua Kai before and this room was wonderful. Spacious, clean and gorgeous views. Plenty of room for our family of 4, including 2 teens.
This was a great vacation. The condo is decently stocked, although lacking in a few areas, which I suggested to the management company. Overall this resort is top notch, love having the resort feeling, but being in a condo with a kitchen and laundry.
A couple things to note, the water heater is tiny so it really is good for one, maybe 2 quick showers, we took a lot of cold showers. The cooler, chairs, and frisbee were a great addition. The location is awesome. If you park below in the parking garage you basically go straight up the elevator to the room! Very easy to come and go. Dukes has decent food but is overpriced. The pools and hot tubs are awesome, crowded, but great. They are also open until 10 PM and really no employees are there bugging you about anything, but are very helpful if you need something. The beach was a little disappointing, you can kind of swim but there is a huge reef and big waves so not a very user friendly situation if you have kids. Overall our experience was awesome, and we will stay again. KMB was a great and handled all requests quickly and check in was easy! With a few small tweaks to the condo it could be perfect! This vacation was just my husband, myself, and my kids, but I would be comfortable with 2 couples, and 2 kids on the sofa bed if necessary.

We had an amazing time with our family of 4. The condo is very nice, clean and well stocked. It even had boogie boards and a cooler which was useful. Would definitely stay here again.
Our room and accommodations were excellent . The only negative being an older couple ,are the amount of families and young children . They take over the pool with there floaties and balls. They are constantly screening from 6 am to 10 pm. Luckily we like the beach. So because of that we probably would not return. This resort is for young families
Great unit great view. Very modern and has everything you need. Staff is great and very helpful any time you need them. Would definitely stay here again. Pools are great. Dukes restaurant is great right near the beach. Overall fantastic resort.
The honua Kai resort is absolutely perfect! Great for families with little ones! Just make sure that the starter package provided will suit your needs before travel so you can better plan ahead before arriving on the island.
Honua Kai is a beautiful resort! You can't go wrong! We had 4 adults and 2 children in this 2 bedroom condo and that worked fairly well. I wouldn't recommend using the pullout as a bed as it was very uncomfortable. 2 big bathrooms and a long patio in this suite. Beach chairs, beach towels, sand toys, boogie boards all provided- which we appreciated!
Our first visit to Maui was wonderful We loved the location of Honua Kai and will definitely book with KBM again.
