House was perfect for our family vacation including littles. Plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy. House was close to both the beach and the pool, which we utilized daily. The only issues were only one key card worked and the battery died for the outside garage. Be sure to check all of these upon arrival. We will be back. I recommend this property highly.

Everything was great, the house was beautiful!!! The location and amenities were awesome. We could have used a few more instructions on the house but other than that we loved it!
This was our third stay at Ho’olei and it remains an absolute favorite. We visited with our three adult children, their spouses, and our 10-month-old grandson. The home was spotless, beautifully maintained, and the layout was perfect for both gathering and having privacy when needed.The property managers are absolutely lovely—responsive, thoughtful, and helpful throughout our stay.The only hiccup was an unexpected interaction with the on-site HOA manager during a quiet family dinner at the poolside island. Although we had prior approval from the property managers, we were told we couldn’t use the space because it would deter other guests from using it. It makes no sense to ask guests not to use a space designed for exactly that purpose. The conversation was uncalled for and dampened an otherwise great visit. We’ve never seen anyone else use that area in all our visits, so it was especially disappointing.That aside, everything else was wonderful, and we will absolutely be back!
This was a perfect spacious lovely home in a fabulous location and was just the perfect home base for our daughter's "wedding week" in Wailea. We enjoyed the fabulous pool and the proximity to the beach and all the fabulous restaurants Wailea has to offer. Management was extremely responsive, allowed us to check in early and depart late as well - This is a great home for togetherness, and family time.
Our extended family really enjoyed this condo. It is spacious for a large group. The location is very convenient to walk to the amenities -especially the beautiful pool area.It is also easy to drive to other areas of Maui.The property manager is very helpful- we enjoyed a number of the restaurant recommendations.We would love to return- thanks to all for making it a special stay.
Very rare to find a Ho Olei unit with 4 bedroomsWas a garden view, but so convenient to pool and beach. Beautiful unit and we had a great stay. Stocked well for all beach and pool activities as well

Awesome stay! Very accommodating with everything you need in the kitchen! Great for family gatherings. Close to pool and beach! Beach gear to accommodate days on the sand! Definitely would stay again!
Everything about our stay was wonderful. We were especially grateful for the attentiveness of the property manager with some of the questions we had after we arrived. Additionally, when my wife left her ring by accident, the cleaning staff located it right away and had it sent back. Seriously - 5/5. I can't think of any way our stay could have been better! We enjoyed the close proximity to the beach and resorts - a light walk and we were enjoying the beauty of the Maui coast or enjoying some evening drinks at one of the resorts. A short drive away from some wonderful snorkeling spots. I could go on and on!

The unit was beautiful and it was exactly has advertised on the website. The photos accurately showed the unit, the pool and anemities. We enjoyed the spaciousness, the lanai, the pool and the close proximity to the pool. We all agreed that it was the nicest place we had ever stayed in.
There were a few minor things in the unit that were broken or not working well. I emailed Derek and he replied immediately thanking me for letting him know. We asked that no one come in to do repairs during our stay and it was honoured. Text messages to the building manager were answered immediately. That was really nice.
Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would recommend it
We've stayed in different villas within Ho'olei and none of them have disappointed. They're wonderful places to stay, this particular unit suited us well because it had 4 bedrooms which was great!
My only real complaints were one major and one minor:
1. The price - this isn't a fault of this particular unit or owner or anything, Maui has just gotten completely out of hand with the cost of everything - property, rent, groceries, gas, everything!
2. Couldn't find a can opener. :)
Another note from our experience in Maui - Wailea and Ho'olei are awesome. However, once we left the area there was quite a lot of hostility towards tourists. There seems to be a division we felt between the locals who want/need tourism and those that do not. Unfortunately the tourists themselves are caught in the middle and it can be a rather uncomfortable experience (Tourists Not Wanted signs and things like that). We had a park ranger say that some rental vehicles are being vandalized if they are left in the "wrong" area and we were cautioned several times about areas to avoid.
A final example to illustrate, we went to Twin Falls and when we arrived, there were two pick up trucks parked diagonally and a man sitting on a bucket staring down any tourists who slowed down or parked to view the falls. There aren't many spots to begin with and this person was intentionally blocking about half of them. That's the kind of awkward and uncomfortable vibe we had.
Just a note to those planning.
Our family of 6 adults loved the location! Easy walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. The condo was clean and quite large. We will definitely stay again. Highly recommend it.
