Beautiful property in a great location. Staff were friendly and professional. Our family has stayed at the Westin prior and enjoyed this property more than those stays.
Our family was very impressed with the facility and location. We had wonderful weather despite December being known for a rainier season you could spend your whole week walking along the boardwalk to the different parts of the beaches on Kaanapali area if you are a beach lover.
It was about a 20 minute walk to Black Rock Beach for snorkeling and cliff jumping. But we preferred to walk the boardwalk and the beach on our way back .There are Many places to eat, although majority of them are restaurants. If you're looking for more fast food, you'll need to drive out of the resort area. We loved that the golf course was in walkable distance. I would recommend wearing water shoes if you are going to be surfing or boogie boarding. As you may stumble upon some reef or rocks and unintentionally, may bang your feet on them. we definitely would come back again to this resort and perhaps stay longer than a week. I felt the Marriott here had the best visible pool along the Kaanapali strip.
We also enjoyed Whalers Village being only a 10 minute walk along the boardwalk. However, you can walk along the beach if you like. And drive to a free parking lot if you wish.
Would totally rent this property again. Nice condo, great location and view. Kitchen is small, but well equipped.
Booking with VRBO was easy and we got exactly what we expected. There was one error on our booking and the manager fixed it right away. I will be booking again through VRBO.

The Marriott is our favorite destination in the entire world. Great activities for all ages, fantastic pool, and of course one of the best beaches in the world. Also great snorkeling right off shore.
We had a wonderful week in Maui at the Marriott Maui Ocean Club Villas. We had a garden view 1 bedroom, 2 bath villa with a beautiful view of the garden. It was close to the pool but very quiet. We had our adult son with us, so it was perfect to have 2 bathrooms. The kitchenette was fully stocked and we ate breakfast on the lanai every morning. Kevin was so easy to work with - great communication - answers all questions very quickly! The Marriott is a fantastic resort - we were with extended family - there were 15 of us and there was something for everyone! So close to restaurants and shops. I would highly recommend booking this villa with Kevin - you won't regret it!
