Our family of four had a great week at Makena Surf! The condo is well equipped and a great location on the property. The unit is right by the pool (but not loud) and a short walk to the beach. The unit has an amazing view of the ocean on the balcony where we enjoyed our morning coffee and afternoon drinks. If we find ourselves back in South Maui, we will for sure return to this unit! Thank you for a lovely visit!
This property made our trip wonderful!! The location is next to a beautiful beach and is a great area for snorkeling near turtles. We could be in the ocean as quickly as we could walk to our car. The property had all the appliances, cookware, dishes, and cutlery that we needed to easily prepare meals during our stay. I highly recommend opening the lanai doors while cooking or relaxing to hear the ocean waves while staying here. The beds were very comfortable and we all are considering purchasing these same mattresses for our home. The hosts quickly answered any questions we had and proved incredibly thoughtful. We loved our stay and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a comfortable escape to paradise!
One of the most amazing places ever. From the condo itself, property, location, etc. It was all top notch. The owners were also very detailed with everything. From check-in, to providing info on where to visit, to check-out, very accommodating. We’ll definitely plan on rebooking in the future.
Wonderful property in a beautiful setting and quiet condo complex. Some of the best views on Maui, near the beach and close to resort amenities, golf, shopping and dining. I hope to return again!

We were greeted by the friendly helpful owners. The beautiful well stocked updated condo had the most gorgeous view from the lanai. Turtle town is right below. Snorkel heaven! The only drawback is it’s on the 3rd floor with no elevator.
We had a wonderful time staying at this well provisioned and lovely condo. Everything was exactly like the photos and our hosts were always quickly available to give us suggestions on restaurants. Fabulous time, hope to return soon.

Just what a group of gals needed…a relaxing escape to a beautiful space. This experience met all of our needs, from the kindness of Nathan and Cindy to the location. Best snorkeling, beaches & low chill vibes on the island. The condo offered everything we with plenty of options for all of us. Will definitely stay again!
Awesome location with beautiful sunsets from beach and balcony every night. Dined in and out with family and had a blast. The condo was well appointed and afforded a much better experience than a hotel. Hope to return soon!

Photos don’t do it justice! The property was spotless, comfortable, and perfectly located, with incredible snorkeling just steps away.
Cindy and Nathan went above and beyond, providing a welcome basket, thoughtful amenities like beach chairs and pickleball gear, prompt and direct communication, and even mailing back a forgotten item at no cost.
The friendly neighbors and exceptional hospitality made our stay even more special. Highly recommend this rental for an unforgettable Hawaiian getaway!

This unit at Makena Surf is our favorite vacation rental. The views are spectacular. The condo is very well equipped and comfortable. The grounds are lovely and the adjacent beach is spectacular. Very responsive and gracious hosts.

We enjoyed every minute of our stay. The property was exactly as advertised. The views were stunning from the lanai and we loved our time at the beach. No issues but confident Cindy and Nathan would have responded very quickly if we did based on our interactions with them.
We enjoyed an amazing vacation at the best place we've stayed in during our 25 years of visiting Maui. The condo provided everything we needed: great location, amenities, and stunning views! Our days began with pickleball followed by snorkeling and sunbathing at the beach. We explored various island restaurants and capped off our stay with a memorable sunset cruise. What a great vacation in Maui. This condo was a fantastic place for us to relax between excursions throughout the island. We enjoyed snorkeling right outside the condo and visiting our friends; the turtles. Everything about the condo was exceptional.
My wife and I along with my mother in law and aunt had a wonderful time here. Our daughter was married just down the street so the location was ideal. The condo was very neat and clean and very tastefully furnished. We snorkeled every morning with turtles just in front of the property. Sunsets every night were spectacular. Thank you for sharing.
We loved our stay at the property- check in was seamless and the hosts were very responsive with any questions. We enjoyed all the facilities at the complex- snorkeling right from the beach, pickleball, tennis, and amazing sunsets ! Thank you !!!!!
