Great property and location, and the condo is the perfect size for two friends. But, the decor is tired and the whole place needs a good, deep cleaning and a fresh coat of paint.
Convenient central Kihei across the street from Charley Young Park. Unit is back from S Kihei Rd so relatively quiet. Nice beach towels but beach chairs were in bad shape. Good linens on decent beds. Good ceiling fans and didn’t need A/C. Host notified us that sleeper sofa wasn’t usable which was okay with us. (Sofa fine, just the sleeper.) Unit was moderately clean with some issues. Rust on refrigerator. Huge scratch all along one wall that also appeared to have some debris stuck to it. Chips in floor tile. Liked this unit overall but we hope the owner updates / repairs it. The pool by our building had a “Closed Due To Weather” sign on it for the 10 days we were there although the weather was good.
Unit was perfect for our group of 5 for our stay on Maui.
We have stayed at the Maui Vista several times. It is a nice property with a great location. Easy access to beaches, restaurants and shopping. Each stay has been in a different unit. This one was on the shade side of the building so we did not need to use A/C. The reason for the low rating was the overall cleanliness of the unit. Lots of dust and floors could use a mopping. As also very little beach amenities. Only two old beach chairs and a pool noodle.
Love Maui vista, the place was great. Simple clean and easy. Comfy beds .
Great communication, easy check in which involved getting a parking pass, nice location with a couple minute walk to the beach and easy walking distance to area restaurants. The sofa bed was broken which we were notified of the day of check in. They provided an air mattress which we did not use. Our son just slept on the couch which he thought was fine. It was nice having one bedroom on the main floor and one bedroom upstairs. Well equipped kitchen and so glad the unit had air conditioning! We would stay here again.

We love this location… close to the beach and all amenities! We booked this for our daughter’s family and we were one condo over. This was very convenient for all of us! This condo was a good fit! It was somewhat updated on the main floor but the loft is dated with full carpet up the stairs into the loft. On the surface, it was clean but could use a thorough clean of baseboards, ledges and corners. Lacks a good variety of beach accessories compared to other condos we’ve stayed at on the Maui Vista. Overall, comfortable and a good value for the price!
The kitchen is clean and updated, but both bathroom and furniture everywhere are outdated. One of the sheets in the main bedroom has been covered in oily stains. There were dust on the wooden furniture and on the two shelves next to the washer, right above towels. Some towels smelled not fresh and we had to wash them before using.
The rental company offered a replacement towels instead but delivered only the next day and only a couple of hand towels,
I like to take this time out to say I really enjoyed my trip would recommend it to everyone I'm from Sacramento California came for a family reunion and staying here made it just all the more special Aloha and mahalo would recommended 100%
Clean. Comfortable beds. Kitchen and washer dryer very convenient. Air conditioner worked well. Worked great for our family of 5. Good location central to a lot of things to do
