We had a really fantastic time staying at the Luana Garden Villas during our recent trip to Maui. It felt very luxurious - the unit was very spacious for 2 adults and 4 kids, had a fantastic lanai overlooking the pool, and was very close to other pools in the resort and the beach. I feel like we really lucked out with this place. Overall, I'm giving a 5 star rating because it was so awesome, but there are some things to call out:
- Contact with the staff was excellent. They were very responsive and put up with a lot of questions as we figured things out.
- There were no condiments or spices available other than salt and pepper in the unit. I get the reason why, but after staying in ski rentals for years I've become accustomed to having some basic staples in a unit that has a kitchen. Again, not a big deal, just calling it out so future renters are aware.
- The air conditioning broke before we arrived, so we had to have 4 portable AC units running during our stay. We had plenty of notice and all units worked pretty well, so no complaints there
- There is parking right in front of the unit for two vehicles - super convenient.
I really don't have any complaints, the place was great. Highly recommend.

This property was perfect for our group of 7 family members. The layout is great and the appliances and finishes are very nice. It's a short walk to the beach. The overall Honua Kai resort is also very nice. We had one issue with the pre-arrival cleaning, but the management company was very responsive and resolved the issue to our satisfaction. I would definitely stay here again.
Enjoyed it. Expensive, but not out of line for Hawaii.
This has been the best family accommodations for my family of 3 adult children and spouses plus my 11 grandchildren. Plenty of space, full kitchens ( missing some items) and 3 master suites provided privacy for everyone .
This place was incredible and exactly as shown in the pictures. Excellent location a three minute walk to the beach and hospitality that’s unparalleled!
This was the best experience ever. It exceeded every expectation and then delivered more. I would stay here again, and, I would recommend everyone stay here.
