EJ was a pleasure to deal with. Communication was fantastic. He and the property manager were available and responded with any questions I asked. The location is great related to that part of the island. We enjoyed the beach associated with the property and the pool was a great way to chill at the end of the day. Parking was easy. We had ample storage for our luggage for family of 5. The beach toys and snorkel gear the owner has in the closet is a nice touch. As well as beach towels. We bought a few snorkels for our family and used the ones provided. Beds are all comfortable. Living room space is ample. The lanai was nice as well. I would absolutely stay again. We loved the location and the property.
My husband, two young sons, and I had a great stay at Villa de Aloha! We were happy to find that the condo has a pack 'n play, beach chairs, umbrella, sand toys, pool noodles, boogie boards, cooler, iron/ironing board, hair dryer, shampoo/conditioner, and body wash. The kitchen is a good size and is well appointed. We loved the balcony/deck and the outdoor grill. The condo community (Kolea) is beautiful and it is a short walk from the unit to the beach and the pool. The pool is stunning with a view of the ocean and there is a separate shallow pool with a sandy bottom that is great for kids. The condo is also very close to the Queens Marketplace and the Kings Shops. The condo is a very good value for the money. We would definitely stay here again! I suggest bringing a sweatshirt because it can get chilly at night in the unit with the AC (the owner asked that we keep it set to 72 degrees), but we were very glad to have the central AC!

Amazing location, beautiful property! Looking forward to coming again!
Our stay began with some challenges as the ac unit was not working. Although the repair was made the next day, we had to move to a hotel for one night because it was too hot to stay in the apartment. While we did receive a partial refund for the first night, having to move into a hotel was tiresome and inconvenient. The unit itself was very spacious. However, the furniture and decor in the living room is in need of an upgrade.
No other thing to say other than it was fantastic and I don't use that word loosely. Owners were very responsive when we had questions, property location is perfect, pools, beach, restaurants, shopping all about a 10 minute walk in either direction. May have been best family vacation we have had, and we will reach out to go again. Thank you and Mahalo!
We love to stay in Kolea as my husband does Lavaman triathlon every year. You cannot beat the location - walking distance to A Bay where the race begins. This condo in building 15 on the 2nd floor met our needs. Kitchen was stocked with plenty of plates, cups, wine glasses and cooking pots and pans. We were a bit surprised that there weren't many spices/condiments in the fridge/cabinet, and we couldn't locate any dish towels (ended up using bath hand towel, and then bought some, that we brought home.) We enjoyed having the dining table on the lanai and ate many meals outside. I was a little concerned that I did not receive any of the check-in information (gate & door codes) until the day of arrival, but it did get to me before we arrived on the island. Since we had a red eye going home, we asked for a late check-out which was granted at no charge. While we hung out in the condo our last morning, we washed & dried the sheets and most of the towels, and the host was very grateful and so surprised. All in all, a beautiful 10 day stay on the Big Island.
Amazing property. The unit is located in a wonderful community close to everything! We loved the convenience, the pool and easy access to the beach. The unit was superbly equipped. Will be back!
This condo is wonderful - we appreciated the location, you can walk to the beach, the pool, the Hilton, and the shops. The condo has a little view of the water and it was clean and quiet. We definitely recommend this place. Thank you for a great visit!!

Super spacious condo that was more than enough for the four of us. Great kitchen and grill area made for easy homemade meals. Infinity pool was awesome and a short walk to the beach for snorkeling or just laying in the sun and sand. Would highly recommend this vacation spot!!

Amazing two bedroom / bathroom unit with a large fully equipped kitchen and living room. It has everything you need to enjoy the beach. The owner and manager were great and easy to work with. Highly recommended!

Upscale condo with lots of marble and hardwood. Welcoming, homey feel. The grounds as well as neighborhood has resort look. Short walk to outdoor shopping mall and a market.
Across the street from condo is the resort like club house with access to private beach next to larger public beach.
From the moment you walk in this place is perfection. Beautiful, clean, AC was amazing. The pool and beach access was so, so perfect. Privacy of the 2 bedrooms. Spacious all the way around. Just really so so beautiful. I do have to say, the pictures on line do not do it justice. Nearby plazas are so perfect. Went grocery shoppi g but also ate out and everything was so nice and convenient. So blessed to have fou d this treasure. We would LOVE to return!
Oh, almost forgot....teenagers legt behind all their souvenirs they had bought for friends back home and owners reached out and then mailed them to us. So sweet! They deserve 10 stars. They went above and beyond and we were SO impressed. Mahalo a million times over!
Nice unit and convenient location
Overall we enjoyed our stay. The room was as advertised, lots of space and well stocked with cooking utensils and supplies. Two things that took away from our stay:
1) The fitness centre wasn't really a fitness centre. Four cardio machines isn't a fitness centre. I was expecting to see a dumbbell rack, bench and possibly a cable machine at the very least. I would have liked to have known this in advance as I want to be able to work out while on vacation.
2) Not having an adults only area was an issue. When we had a chance to sit in the clubhouse area when it was quiet, this spot was perfect. When the pool filled with children it took away from the relaxing ambiance. It's unfortunate there isn't an adults only area so that all parties can make the most of their stay.
As mentioned, we liked the unit and the location and would consider coming back but we're going to check other locations as well.

Our stay was very comfortable with all the amenities you need for a wonderful Hawaiian vacation.
We’ve been coming to the Big Island for 13 years and staying in Kolea. We’ve stayed in a number of different units but we really enjoyed 15H. The unit is comfortable, clean and well appointed. The view of A-Bay is stunning! We already booked for 2 months next year. The owner and property manager are excellent and handle promptly any issue that arise. It’s a great property!

Absolutely beautiful condo with every amenity you could dream of! Beautiful view from lani and packed kitchen and beach toy closet! Wonderful owners who were super accommodating and property manager that was responsive and helpful! Would recommend to all families wanting a beautiful and clean stay with easy beach access to A-bay!
Another perfect stay at Kolea and in particular this villa. Everything was as described and communications were simple and effective. We will return soon.
