The lack of air conditioning was clearly stated, I thought it wouldn’t be a problem, but we couldn’t get the rooms less than 76 degrees. The first night was the worse, we arrived after dark, the rooms were 80 degrees, no wind to cool it off. But we knew there was no a/c. Kitchen was well stocked, pool was very clean and nice.

Our first Hawaiian vacation was well done. The property was exactly what we needed, quiet and scenic for the vacation. We will recommend this to others for sure.
We loved our view from this condos balcony. The ocean and mountains made a beautiful view each day. It had everything we needed. I had hoped to enjoy the pool more, but the water was very chilly and when the tradewinds would start I couldn't get warm. We were visiting our daughter in June I and loved the close proximity between her home and Luana Kai.
Good location. The unit is a good size for a couple people. However the unit is dated and needs updates. Sheets & pillows are dingy and need to be replaced. Bath towels are thin. Bathroom has rust in sink and stained shower tiles. Shower stall is small. Great water pressure, but uncomfortable in such a small space.
Very nice balcony but furniture is dingy and needs to be replaced.
There is no AC, but the breeze and fans keep everything cool. However you are asked to lock the balcony door at night and this blocks the breeze. And if the place is closed up all day, when you return it smells musty.
Beach towels & beach chairs in unit were a plus.
Very clean place with a beautiful view of the ocean. The pool and shuffle board are fun amenities! My only negative comments about this place is it doesn’t have AC and our neighbors were very loud and you can hear everything inside the condo.
Excellent location, easy beach access. Condo had more than advertised, including beach chairs, boogie boards, snorkel gear, cooler, travel cups, and Tupperware. Would’ve been nice to know in advance!
Nice unit and a good location. We were concerned that a 2nd floor unit would have noise from above or below, but it was quiet above and below (lots of kids around the property, tho, so noisy in that way since the windows stayed open). It could benefit from a few minor maintenance things - the screen door didn't slide very well and kept going off track. The fridge doors won't close without a hard push. Dishwasher was a little wonky to load, but worked. I'd stay again in this unit, tho.
