The house was fantastic! The immediate surrounding area (i.e. the gated community) was beautiful. The house had everything we needed plus many extras. It was extremely clean and very spacious.There is a very nice beach not far from the house as the property lists. I feel it is important to note, however, that the city of Waianae has the highest crime rate on the island. That being said we had no issues while staying there.

Excellent house, clean and in great condition. Kids enjoyed the ping pong table, and we appreciated having the beach towels, snorkel gear, beach chairs, etc.available to use. Location wasn't ideal for what we wanted to do, had to drive pretty far to get to main "tourist" areas. Price was good, though.We had an issue with the front door keypad not working one evening when we returned, but rental agency answered my call immediately and was able to get us into the house in short order. Came the next day and fixed the issue.

Our stay in Mākaha in April was lovely. The home was great for our group of 5. We enjoyed walks in the neighborhood and found the resident muster of peacocks up the hill. The home was spotless, beds are comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed.
Brought my family of 7 (5 kids 14-21 years old) for spring break. House was excellent, and the provided amenities were awesome, for the most part, there were a bunch of beach chairs available to use, however 1 was broken, and a couple different body boards, but again, some were put back broken. There was a large canopy we didn't need to use, and some snorkeling equipment. If you're only going for time at the beach, there are some amazing beaches nearby, but if you're looking for activities, or going to North Beach, it's a drive. The landscapers showed up one morning to work, but when they realized the house was occupied they apologized and told us about some nearby spots to check out. Overall the house is set up quite nicely, but the management company seems to be lacking a little, I was never sent the check in instructions and had to ask for them when we arrived in Honolulu, which was after hours so was welcomed with a generic try again later message, luckily someone did respond within a couple minutes and sent the instructions. The house was very clean, and great views, neighborhood is very quiet.

The property was very nice. It was very clean and comfortable. We really liked the fact that it was away from all of the noise of the big city, but close enough to get to the places we wanted to see.
House was amazing, view was incredible. Listing did not do this house justice. Cleanliness and modern made me want to upgrade my house. Communication took a couple hrs to respond but they met all my demands and questions. Great neighborhood and safe. Will def stay again and refer.

We really enjoyed our stay, great location local beaches and more suburbs rather than the typical Waikiki vibes. My only complaint was yesterday we were without hot water. We called maintenance the responded to the work order came out to resolve the issue but for some reason it was only warm. We stayed 3,nights total and only had hot water 1 of the days..

The house was ok. We had a few issues that didn't appear to get addressed during our stay. Traffic on Oahu can be rough, so, because of where we were wanting to go, we really spent a lot of time in the car due to the location vs where we were trying to go.

First, I assume since we rented 3 homes all in the same neighbors than Alii Rentals must work closely win the property owners to decorate and furnish their properties with quality and comfort in mind. Next, you have a property manager that provide s clear instructions about the basics but also give you suggestions about things to do locally and useful practical tips that make your stay more pleasant. The homes were clean, every was in good working order and tastefully decorated. If you see Alii is the property manager then I would say it's safe to assume that you will enjoy the property and be well cared for and have clear instructions about the most common questions. Plus receive other helpful information.
This is a great vacation rental. It is located in a gated community so it is very secure. It is roughly an hour drive to get to almost anywhere on the island and even had a ping pong table in the garage which my kids loved. If you are looking for a new spacious family rental than this is your spot.
Great setup for our stay. There were beach towels and chairs available. The unit was spacious and very comfortable. We never did find the two garage remotes.
