We had a fantastic week in Princeville and couldn’t have asked for a better home base. This house was absolutely perfect for our family of five—spacious, beautifully updated, and thoughtfully decorated throughout. It had everything we needed and more for a peaceful and relaxing stay in paradise.The location is ideal—conveniently located near all the best beaches on North Kauai, with several beautiful spots just a short walk away. We also enjoyed being within walking distance to great restaurants and local shops.The owners and property managers were incredibly responsive and helpful, making the entire experience smooth from start to finish. Staying here is like having access to the best concierge in Princeville. They told us about all the best places to go and things to do. We would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend this home to anyone looking for comfort, style, and tranquility in one of the most beautiful places on Earth.
What a wonderful landing place after days on the beach, hiking and exploring! The Rainbow House surpassed expectations! We vacationed with our twenty-something son and daughter and their partners. The house was simply splendid! Plenty of room allowing privacy and comfort. Wonderful space for gathering. Living room and nook were perfect for lounging, gathering and napping. The Lanai was great for afternoon chats, reading or just listening to the birds and enjoying the breeze or afternoon rain shower. Kitchen is the most well-equipped, in our experience. Everything you need to make fabulous meals! Sharp knives in a rental home, shocking! A lasting memory, for sure, will be the after-dinner conversations that went well into the night, sitting at the dining table on the lanai. Bikes, beach chairs, assortment of beach towels; every need was met. The Rainbow House is a delight! It's cheerful, comfortable, very well appointed and thoughtfully stocked. Thank you, Chris for being flexible after our delayed arrival meeting us at the house and Ema, for the use of your beautiful home!
We were very impressed by the home. The owner has obviously spent a lot of time and effort to make it feel like a home away from home. Top end appliances, full kitchen needs (pots, pans, utensils, dishes, flatware), plenty of beach towels and anything you could think of for a day (or 10) at the beach. Ema was always in contact us to check in, and the property manager Chris did a great job of showing us everything we needed to know about the home. We would definitely stay here again!

Awesome Hale! Perfect place to stay for our group! Everyone loved their individual rooms and the layout of the house is perfect. Great location in Princeville with easy access to everything on the island. Definitely recommend staying at this spot/house!!
Everything was super. The house was great and we loved it.
It's hard to imagine that the pictures wouldn't do this place justice, but just believe me when I tell you that you simply have to see it yourself to believe it. What a property! I truly have never been in a rental property where I felt more at home, and I was absolutely astounded by the quality of every appliance, every dish, every glass. What a treat it was to be in this lovely home for nine nights and we didn't want to leave. We were a party of eight with four adults and four children. There was more than enough room for everyone, and there were so many lovely places to lounge about indoors and out. We loved taking walks on the frisbee golf course and found the location to be absolutely perfect. The neighbors are all delightful and so welcoming as well! I could go on and on about how much we loved our time, and I'll cherish the memories of making lemonade from the Meyer lemon tree in the front yard, as well as our morning and evening walks in this incredibly special place. Mahalo!
The house was beautiful and well equipped for adults and kids alike -- from the kid-friendly bibs/plates/silverware to the milk frother and vitamix. The hosts were very helpful, responsive, and eager to ensure we had what we needed and answered any questions we had. The design details throughout the house were beautiful. We enjoyed a meal outdoors, drank coffee on the outdoor furniture and our kids enjoyed the big backyard. The house and yard were equipped with games and toys and plenty of things to entertain ourselves with. The house was within walking distance to the Princeville shopping center as well as the farmers market and a park. All in all it was a great house, location, and hosts for our week in Kauai!

A modern stay with lots of family friendly amenities and activities to keep you busy. Great location with lots of yard space. Very well stocked kitchen with spices and cooking utensils. Amazing showers!
We enjoyed our stay immensely. Property has lovely view out the back of a seldom used disc golf course. House was spacious and well appointed. We cooked most of our meals there. Property is well located to both Princeville and Hanalei. Highly recommended.
Ema's Hale is a very nice and exceptionally well appointed stay.
There are two main bedrooms that are next to each other with separate large bathrooms, and a third bed that is more secluded on the garage side of the home. There is a large communal living area that connects to the kitchen (which has is own bathroom).
We had a wonderful time over our two days at Ema's and wished we had booked a few more days before heading south.
Ema provides beach chairs and towels, boogie boards, umbrella, and bikes to her guests. We were very happy with the space and opportunities afforded in Princeville and beyond. Black Pot beach is 👌.
Also, awesome disc golf course right out the back yard! We booked a tee time the morning of departure and it was very enjoyable even with feb down pours.
This house was great for our family. It is in a great location and has an amazing backyard. My family especially enjoyed the bocce ball and fishing pond in the evening. We were able to quickly settle in and the furnishings and amenities in the house made us feel like we were home! Definitely would book this home again!
If you think this property looks good in photos, you will not believe how good it looks in person. It truly ticks all of the boxes. Excellent location, close to everything. The home lacks nothing. If you have small children, the hosts have everything you need. Like cooking? You'll enjoy the gourmet kitchen. The beds are all extremely comfortable, and the common areas (inside and out) are spacious and accommodating. We only used a fraction of the home's amenities, but were pleased to see bikes in the garage, along with plenty of beach supplies! Our host was quick to reply to any and all messages. We can truly not think of a single thing that was missing, and no, we are not friends or relatives of the hosts! We will be recommending this location to all of our friends and family, and hope to return soon.
This property is pristine! Ideally located, close to everything but you will feel like you are in your own little world because it backs up to a seldom used disc golf course. The house is set up perfect for families or groups of couples. Furnished and decorated exquisitely; it has a homey feel with luxury details. I would stay there again and again.
