Overall a great experience. No elevator and stairs required make this not a great option for the mobility impaired. But, a great location to use as a home base for exploring the island. No A/C in the living area but cross breeze makes it pleasant, just open the front door.
I had an excellent stay at this location. Everything was described as it was. The team renting the unit reached out multiple times during our stay to make sure our accommodations were being met. Would recommendMahalo
We loved staying here for the second half of our honeymoon. We appreciated how everything you needed was there, easy to find, and offered more space. Even more incredible is the proximity to the coast to watch the waves crash in. We would definitely return here if we find ourselves back in Kauai!
The location of this condo was perfect. It had everything we needed for our Kauai vacation. Kristin stayed in touch to make certain everything was going well and was very responsive when we had a question. Thanks for helping make our trip so enjoyable.
This location is perfect. Right next to a wonderful walking/running path along the ocean. Near beaches. And the ocean view is great. There is construction and I did not see that until I had already booked it. They do tell you there is construction, at the very bottom tucked away. The pictures that are shown are extremely outdated. Again I like this location I just didn’t like the listing and how it wasn’t more apparent.
This was a wonderful VRBO with access to the Maha'ulepu Heritage Trail. It is also only less than 5 minutes to drive to Poipu Beach and shipwreck beach. The unit had 4 beach chairs and three pairs of snorkels and fins available for use. The listing does say partial ocean view but the picture shows different, so just realize you have a partial ocean view from a balcony. I would definitely stay here again.

The location was awesome. Within walking distance to the beach. Beautiful view of the sunrise from the lanai. We watched the sunrise and sunset each day.
Location was perfect for the conference I was attending at the Grand Hyatt. I could walk along the beach to the conference daily. Views from the living room were great. Saw many whales. The supplies from the kitchen to beach items were fantastic. The place was dated, but was not a problem. The pictures were not accurate, that grassy area is now all dirt due to construction. I think they should update the photos to give the current look. This place is all about location. I would stay again.

A very pleasant spot on the south shore. The condo worked well for our family and sunset viewing with the neighbors was very pleasant. We even saw the green flash one night.
The overall condo condition was good. The bathrooms and kitchen had been updated and nicely equipped. There was newer furniture throughout. The building itself has issues. Primary bedroom view window has a broken seal causing it to look hazy and did not have a screen. The millwork, doors and floors were tired and mismatched. My biggest issue is the pictures in the listing are not reflective of the current construction taking place on the property before the ocean views….there is no longer green grass but dirt and big machines. There is a construction notice buried deep in the listing that is easy to miss.
This is a beautiful property that is well maintained, in an exceptional location. It is stocked with everything you may need and was immaculate.. The management company was very pleasant to deal with and very accommodating.
We’re a family of four who stayed here for 7 nights in August 2024. Overall, the condo was very good.
What we liked:
- Location and View: Stunning sunrises and sunsets on the southernmost point of Kauai. Sunrises from the lanai were spectacular. The nearby lava rocks offered great views of the sunsets and waves.
- Amenities: Included 4 beach chairs, 2 beach umbrellas (1 was broken), a backpack cooler, and basic toiletries.
- Interior: Spacious and comfortable for a family of 4. Upstairs bedrooms were roomy, and the A/C units, though noisy, kept the rooms cool. Downstairs was adequately cooled by opening the sliding door and using the ceiling fan. The master bedroom bed was especially comfortable.
- Parking: Conveniently close to the unit with ample parking spots. Two flights of stairs to the front door were manageable.
- Check-in: We were provided clear instructions via email for checking in, which included a code to access the physical key in the lock box. Couldn't have been any smoother.
What could’ve been better:
- Dated Interior: The condo felt a bit outdated compared to the pictures. Some wear and tear was evident, but not a major issue.
- Construction: Ongoing construction next to the property affected the view and created noise, particularly on weekdays. It’s best to plan outings in the morning to avoid this.
- Minor Details: Not enough bath towels and the hand soap was too watery.
Overall, we were happy with the condo and would definitely stay here again.
We had a great stay. Had all the accommodations we were hoping for…our family of 4 had a great visit to the south/west part of the island.

My family and I absolutely loved our stay! It was exactly as described and then some. It was clean, well maintained, and quiet.
My wife and I decided to take one last vacation just her and I before we had our baby, and really enjoyed our stay! It rained 4 out of the 7 days we were there, so we spent a lot of time inside the condo. The layout was nice, and the views are beautiful, even despite the construction. The construction didn’t bother us at all. Certain portions of the unit had been remodeled, but the unit was still fairly outdated, which you can’t see in the listing pictures. That aside we would definitely stay here again! The AC unit in the bedroom was an absolute life saver for my pregnant wife! The downstairs got a little warm at times but it wasn’t an issue. The location of this condo being just minutes of walking distance to go watch the waves crash is incredible! We would definitely recommend anyone stay here!

Excellent location to explore the south side of Kauai. Condo had everything we needed for our stay.
This property was perfect for our stay! It had everything we needed; plus an amazing view from the balcony! The few times I contacted the rental company they were very responsive and helpful. I would absolutely rent here again!
This condo is in a great location- close to Poipu and Shipwreck beaches, and not far from other attractions. The shared pool is small and the unit is older. AC units were only in the bedrooms and were too loud to be used at night. The ocean views from the balcony are excellent, but there is constant construction during workdays. The unit was clean and priced well compared to others nearby.

This rental was perfect for us. Location is great. Close to so may restaurants, shops, beaches, site seeing and excursions! Plenty of parking available. Somewhat private and very quiet! The condo itself is well stocked with all you would need to prepare a home cooked meal. The AC units and ceiling fans in the bedrooms work fantastic! They were much needed during our stay as it was very hot. The living room and kitchen on the main floor do not have AC as advertised in the listing, but really this was not a problem. There are ceiling fans throughout and an extra fan that we used in the living room in addition to opening the windows and slider for the little time we did spend hanging around in the unit. There is a walking path that runs alongside and beyond the condo right along the water. Beautiful cliff walk with crashing waves. It’s a very nice walk in the right shoes. Great photo opportunities here, especially at sunrise and sunset. Also, you are walking distance to at least 3 beaches! There are 4 nice Tommy Bahama beach chairs with back pockets as well as 4 beach towels in the unit. The half bath on the main floor with full laundry was a nice perk. Upstairs, the two bedrooms both have attached private full bathrooms, which was great for two couples. There is ongoing construction outside the complex, also mentioned in the listing, but this had absolutely no impact on our stay and we still had a fabulous view of the water from the lanai. Would absolutely stay here again!
