What a great stay at To-Ha and Ryan’s condo in Poipu Sands. Short walk to Shipwreck beach, short drives to many restaurants and shops. Very spacious and immaculate condo with access to a great pool within a short walk. We would definitely return. Thanks To-Ha!

My husband and I enjoyed 14 days in this lovely condo. We have stayed at Poipu Sands twice before and have always been impressed with the units and location. This condo was no exception! It was immaculate and very tastefully decorated. Communication with the owner was spot on and the first floor location provided easy access. Walking to Poipu Beach and seeing all the basking turtles and monk seals was an added bonus. We would not hesitate to recommend it or stay there again if we visit the beautiful garden isle once more.

Spent 10 days here, everything about it was great. The owner is very responsive and took care of everything. This is one of the nicest condos we have stayed in on any island in Hawaii! Super clean, well maintained, comfortable bed, nice furnishings, just a great place to spend a vacation. The ocean view and proximity to walking paths and the Hyatt makes this a perfect choice for a relaxing time in Poipu.

We spent 6 nights at Poipu Sands. The location is close to shopping and restaurants. The view was gorgeous and we saw turtles every day. The condo was immaculate and well stocked. We can't wait for a return visit.

So we didn’t actually get to stay here because our daughter ended up in the hospital prior to our trip. However, the host was incredibly understanding and compassionate for our situation. This was absolutely not his problem to solve but he volunteered to refund the cleaning fee plus some which was very kind and way above and beyond. It’s so nice and rare to encounter such generosity and kindness. We’ll be back for sure. Mahalo!

We had a lovely time. Our stay was unfortunately pretty short, but the location was perfect for a wedding we were going to at the Hyatt next door. Communication was great with the property manager and we had no issues. Kitchen was well stocked, although we didn’t really use it! Hope to stay for longer next time.

We stayed here for 2 weeks on our honeymoon. We would highly recommend this place.
-unit is spacious and clean. It has everything you need to cook meals from home in the well stocked kitchen, which is very useful for longer trips when you don’t want to eat out every night. Ground floor Lanai (deck) does get a decent ocean view. Comfortable bed. 2 toilets and 3 sinks, very luxurious shower
-Despite having AC and visiting in July, we never ran it as the units gets very good airflow at night when you leave all the windows open
-host was very sweet and also attentive. She reached out during an island wide power outage to ensure we were okay. Very easy to get a hold of
-unit comes with beach chairs, boogey boards, and snorkel gear. This was very useful as we didn’t have to rent a board and could also use the chairs on the beach
-nice pool very close by. Ground are nice and well maintained
-minutes away from Shipwreck beach on foot. There is also a nice walking trail you can do if you continue past Shipwreck beach
-5 minute drive to Poipu beach. The proximity was great and allowed us to spend a lot of time there
-tons of parking outside the unit itself so you never had to worry about finding a spot

Loved the fact that we could walk out the patio door and see the ocean, walk in the well manicured grass, walk 50 yards to a gas grill which we used twice, and walk/jog 500 yards to the left and be at the Grand Hyatt as well as the ocean front. Everything about the place was wonderful. The only comment I would make, and this is definitely not a complaint, is that if a couple is looking for privacy from their kids, the bedroom arrangement is a bit 'open floorplan' to the living room. We loved the layout, just a heads up. To-ha was a great host, allowed us to check-in a couple hours early, and responded quickly to any questions we had. If we come to Kauai again, we'll seriously consider doing it all over again! -Rick

Here alone to attend a conference at the Hyatt next door and preferred the extra space and privacy of a condo over a hotel. Well appointed, comfortable, with lovely access to large lawn and ocean view. Host was incredibly responsive and flexible with early check in/late check out requests. Would stay here again.
