This was a perfect stay and Renee was the most accommodating host we have ever had. The unit was great and the view was amazing. Can’t wait to get back!!

The photos on VRBO were very deceiving and did not accurately represent the way the condo actually looked. The walls were very dirty, looked like haven't been painted for quite a long time. There were holes in the walls from artwork etc, which was removed; sliding doors to bathrooms could not be closed completely, eliminating any privacy; one of the sliding doors fell off the track and my son had to fix it; the inside of the medicine cabinets were stained and rusty; wasps or hornets nests on both balconies; overhead piping on balcony was rusted. The owner stated that parking was not a problem, which was very inaccurate. Every time we left the condo and came back, we had a very difficult time finding a parking space. I've stayed at multiple vacation condos over the years through VRBO and I've never had an issue until now. Overall, I believe that I was deceived regarding the aesthetic of the condo and I will not be leaving a good review. I made the owner aware of the condo's appearance and she is refusing to give me two nights compensation which I feel is more than fair. She is stating that I'm just trying to extort money out of her. I can assure you that is not the case, given the fact that I paid in full from my checking account and did not use a credit card which clearly shows that I do have the liquid funds. I feel that 6000 was way too much in comparison to other places we stayed at in the past.

This ocean front condo has the perfect view to watch whales breech. Anytime you look down to the surf you are almost always guaranteed to see multiple turtles swimming around. Renee the owner is extremely responsive if needed. We will definitely be back again!

We LOVED our stay at this condo! The view is amazing! It almost feels like you're sitting on a Cruise Ship looking out over the ocean! We saw some whales and turtles too! There was PLENTY of room for the 4 of us--my husband and I and our 2 adult daughters. We would love to return to this unit in the Sands of Kahana!

Congrats to new owners. They have lots of work ahead of them to make it a first class unit. We appreciated the AC units recently installed. Gilberto, the handyman/cleaner, was a gem. Loved that there were spices, coffee filters, coffee, etc in the pantry. The owner was very responsive. Thank you

Balcony with views of whales, turtles and sunsets! All furniture very comfy. We had a few issues that we sent to owner - hopefully they will take care of them when they are there next. Pool and hot tub were amazing as was the new restaurant beside the pool. We would stay there again!

Loved visiting Renee and Brett’s place with two couples for one week. We both loved that we had ocean view from each bedroom and could hear the sound of the ocean all night long. The kitchen was well equipped with everything that we needed to do cooking and baking. Beds were comfortable and towels were flush. We are excited that they will be refreshing the decor in the future, but we spent the majority of our time at the great sands of Kahana resort outside at the beach anyways! The resort has great beach chairs, a refreshing pool, nice hot tub, tennis court, and Pickleball courts (all free and you can borrow equipment). We are definitely excited to visit in the future!

Fabulous location. The condo was clean and perfect, exactly what we expected. The owners had a nice message for guests that they plan to update the unit furnishings. Had a wonderful time.

Awesome location. Condo very dated and many things needing to be repaired/replaced. Owner was responsive to concerns and took quick action to resolve AC issue. Owner has plans to make upgrades/etc. and then will be 5 stars.

Location and overall property amenities were great. Views were breathtaking. Check in was a little more complicated than just providing my ID (the property rents directly as well and VRBO rental required more work to check in). Furniture and interior are very dated. Found two dead cockroaches when we checked in and outside lanai’s hadn’t been cleaned in a while.
