We came with our family and had a wonderful stay in this spacious condo. It was beautifully decorated and the view was breathtaking! The bay villas are a quiet place with many walking trails along the coast and beautiful pools. The property management company was fantastic and responsive. This condo was perfect for our stay and we would definitely come back again!
Overall, this is a very nice unit. I’m giving 5 stars, but would have given 4.5 if that were an option.
Check-in was great. They just email you the codes before arrival. Parking is available only steps from the unit, and on the same level.
The view, while nice, is restricted because of the placement of the unit. Other condos box in the view, so you definitely have an ocean view, it’s just narrow. Also, the placement of the units means you are always on display when in the dining area and on the deck. The main deck is very narrow: only room for chairs. It would have been nice to have room to stretch out.
The unit was clean, and very well stocked in the kitchen. We prepared all our breakfasts and half our dinners, and always had what we needed. Beds are comfy. WiFi is strong.
The only issues we had were a garbage disposal that didn’t work (fixed same day by a very friendly tech); sliding glass patio door and screen that need repair (dragging heavily and noisily on tracks); and a personal beef with the multiple communications basically telling me not to steal the towels (not worded that way, but that was the gist).
We love Kapalua, and have stayed on property many times. Everything you need or want is close by. This was the first time in a Bay View unit, and while we enjoyed our stay, the restricted view would cause me to explore alternatives before booking this one again. That said, if we returned here, we would enjoy our time every bit as much.
I stayed with my family and had a great time. It was easy to communicate with host and they were available for us. We would recommend this place

The intentions are well but attention to detail is missing in terms of cleanliness and guest comfort. Response is slow, unsupportive and just disappointing. View is nice and location is great!

Fantastic place to stay while in Maui! Great location and access to the beach. Amazing scenery and views from the villa. Great air conditioning too!! Would stay here again and recommend to others.

Our family of four spent four wonderful nights in Bay Villa 28-D. Kapalua is a beautiful property and neighborhood, with the coastal trail that leads to several beaches and awesome rocky headlands just a hundred feet away from the villa. The property manager communicated well, and the villa was reasonably well equipped with a nice layout for us plus our two teenagers. The kitchen could use a few more bowls, glasses, and mugs, but overall, we had a great stay in this excellent villa.
Overall, the Maui west side is a superb spot. We drove down to Kannapali and Lahaina for dinner most nights where the options are more plentiful than in Kapalua.

The property was in a prime location but is surrounded by identical townhomes with views into each. Privacy was lacking. The appliances were disappointing - the washer/dryer stackable is definitely from the 1990s and tore clothes. The COCKROACHES were a SURPRISE and DISAPPOINTMENT! The living room sofa was very uncomfortable, the air exchange in the upstairs bedroom was lacking due to two of the side windows being screwed shut. The two twin beds down stairs slid around the room when any movement took place on the bed.There was no hot tub at any of the pools. And, the phone number for resort transportation was not operational. While we like the Kapalua area, we'd not rent this particular unit again.

The property and the view are really amazing. We especially loved the pool, the easy access to the trail and the leather chairs upstairs.
This condo is in the perfect location near all sorts of activities. We recommend renting a car to go places. The 2 beaches were amazing! 1 for snorkeling and the other for boogie boarding. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were spacious. The refrigerator has a filtered water dispenser inside and an ice maker in the freezer! The views are top notch! We never wanted to leave!
