Kulima Estates is nestled in the center of one of the two championship 18 hole golf courses on the grounds of the Turtle Bay Resort. There are 2 pools on the East end development.

Turtle Bay is located between the eastern point Kawela Bay and the Turtle Bay Hotel and Resort Sunset Beach Technically, Sunset Beach is a two-mile stretch of sand from 'Ehukai Beach to Sunset Point but has been subdivided by wave breaks resulting in a dozen unique surf. This area of beaches is considered the longest stretch of rideable surf spots in the world. The wide sandy beach at Sunset provides families with a pleasant place to play in the sand and explore the shoreline.

Waimea's waters calm down and become flat during the summer months, allowing for excellent snorkeling, swimming, and fishing. Being a resident at Kuilima East or West you may revel in the resort-like amenities, tennis courts, swimming pools with gazebos and barbecues, a pavilion with picnic tables and barbecues, and spacious grounds with well-maintained tropical landscaping.

Roy's Beach House serves Pacific Rim cuisine, and a beautiful ocean view and colorful sunsets can be viewed from this restaurant. Driving down the North Shore, you will see many trailers, cooking up shrimp, mahi-mahi, and other ocean delicacies. Another neighborhood favorite is Ted's Bakery and is a well-known hangout for locals and surfers. They are famous for their pies, great breakfasts, salads, and sandwiches.
