This 3 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom ocean view condo is located at the famous Papakea Resort where guests will enjoy stunning ocean views, poolside relaxation, gorgeous tropical grounds and many more amenities! Beautifully furnished and decorated, K402 can host up to 8 guests. The unit includes a split AC system and ceiling fans to stay cool after a long day in the sun.
The private lanai is a fabulous spot to entertain with space to dine and lounge Maui style! While on the lanai, sip a cup of Maui grown coffee while you take in the sights, smells and sounds of paradise. In the evenings, you'll be privy to some epic sunsets over the Pacific.
Step through the slider glass doors and you'll find the open concept, main living area featuring tile floors and vaulted ceilings. Relax and unwind on the comfortable couch, enjoy the upscale furniture including a one of a kind resin top coffee table commissioned from local artist Cathleen McCandless. Watch your favorite show on the SmartTV, or whip up something (try a poke bowl) in the updated kitchen featuring stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and counter seating for 3. You can also find additional seating for 6 in the dining area. Under the stairway, there is a children's nook with an under the sea mural painted by local artist Jordan Keahi.

Our family including grandchildren recently spent two wonderful weeks in a great condo. The unit was clean, comfortable and perfect for our family of seven. The resort property was well maintained and offered activities for all ages. The view from our unit was spectacular. We would highly recommend this unit.

Pluses : Great view, nice linens, and plenty of dishes (except forks)
Cons: Unit needs serious updating and better maintenance. The guest bathroom has an outdated small bathtub with shower. Very slippery when wet. Mold on top of shower. Unrecognizable substance on shower door hinge. Black substance around faucets in loft. Master bathroom shower drips. Some outlets in rooms don’t work. Light bulbs missing or don’t work. Leg on chair in dining area is very wobbly. Washing machine cycles are not as indicated on dial. Toilet in loft ½ bathroom must be flushed twice. TVs in guest and loft areas not connected to cable.

This unit is great for families. We rent at the Papakea every year and found this unit to have one of the best views. The location is handy for going to the pool or ocean-side. It was clean and the kitchen is reasonably well stocked (the only one I’ve ever rented with sharp knives!). It has putters and beach chairs but no sand toys, tennis rackets or boogie boards etc.

Close to multiple beaches and restaurants. Many on site amenities, in unit laundry was a huge plus. Easy to access, staff in the office are incredibly helpful. Would definitely stay here again next time.

The condo we stayed in met all our needs and expectations! Sitting on the lanai enjoying our morning coffee, listening to the ocean roar and being treated to many rainbows was a gift we didn’t expect! The property is busy during the day with families taking part in the activities provided like shuffleboard, swimming, and Putt-Putt golf or just those sunning, reading and enjoying their solitude. At night, it is quiet, restful and fun if you want a night swim or soak in the hot tub.
We we strongly supported by the reality company if we had questions or needed anything! We couldn’t have asked for anything more!

We loved staying in this condo. The view was perfect, the amenities were great, the beach access was fantastic. Any concerns we had were addressed within hours, so they have great service. There were places to eat and a grocery store we could walk to. The beach chairs in the unit were really great to have. I could go on, but overall we loved it and would recommend staying here.

Loved the beautiful resort overall and would definitely recommend and would stay again. However, Check in was very confusing. Key cards and key pad code provided by front desk didn’t work. Property manager provided different keypad code that worked. No instructions provided in advance for trash services. Televisions were not connected to the internet. No mention of how to get clean towels, etc. inside condo instructions would have been extremely helpful.

Overall a nice place to stay, cleaning needs to be more thorough, as I saw dried macaroni noodles inside the bottom of the cupboard where the garbage is kept, dried pancake splatter on a few cupboards. Some maintenance needs to be done, towel bar dowel cover loose and hanging, bathroom vanity light not level, curtain hooks need to be rehooked, looks like drapes in bedroom have had there better days. Nice there was a disclaimer that the bath tub is shower only, no plug. I was ready to take a bath when I realized there was no stopper. Bath showers & tubs need to be updated to be current with the rest of the condo. One last note, nice to have all of the kitchen appliances, dishes etc. but there is not room to put your food, all the cupboards were filled with kitchen stuff, more than most guests will ever use.
