Lovely place overlooking the ocean! Well equipped. Nice location. Can walk for coffee at green flash in the mornings. Farmers market nearby. Beautiful patio to watch the sunset. Pool was clean and a perfect temperature. The people who lived in the apartments were so friendly!
The condo was immaculately clean and the host provided appropriate cooking tools for all our needs. The host even provided laundry detergent, first aid kit, and other needed supplies you wouldn't have thought of. The king bed was very comfortable- it is two twins, not a full size king. The lanai was comfortable and furnished beautifully- the view gorgeous. Everything was perfect and I would book again and again. *If you are hot sleeper, no A/C... but plenty of extra fans to place around the condo. Over-all the cleanliness and little thoughtful extras were what will keep this condo booked.
Great location, overlooking the bay - lovely sunsets. Nice to relax on the nicely furnished lanai on the days it rained. Only downside was lack of A/C on the couple of nights that it got warm for us (plenty of fans though); then it got rather loud with the surf from the open patio door. No worries as they did warn us before we rented. Everything else was great - I'd recommend if you're ok without A/C.

we were in Kona for 4 weeks for ironman, and this is a great location to stay. The accommodation was fantastic for a family of 3 or 4. Everything we needed was there and the local guide the owners had written up was a blessing when it come to visiting places. For anyone doing Ironman the location was perfect, directly inshore from the swim turn buoy, so early morning swims could start from the accom and finish at the pier if you only wanted to do a half swim. Having the ability to cook our own meals was a huge bonus. If I qualify again I will be contacting the owner to see if I can book again. First rate
We had a great stay at Janet’s place! Loved the lanai and hearing the ocean. It was clean, had comfortable beds, and great beach gear. We left the beautiful tatami doors to the front bedroom open for a more spacious living area. Beware the track for those doors on the floor! We both banged our feet into it and ended up laying some beach towels folded in half lengthwise over it so we would stop hurting ourselves. The pool was also fab and I swam there several times. Janet was extremely responsive and helpful. We used the info from her guest book every day! The location is great in that it’s only a 20 minute walk to downtown Kona, but you’re far enough out that there are alternate routes to avoid when the traffic into town gets backed up. Recommend!
We loved our time at this condo and on the island. We loved sitting on the lanai watching the beautiful ocean!! The condo was great for our family! Perfect location. Short walk to a coffee/breakfast place and an easy walk or drive to a huge variety of restaurants and shops.
The condo itself is exactly as described. You are right on the water, going to bed with the ocean waves. The best part about this booking was Janet, the property owner. She was unbelievably accommodating, responsive, and reliable. I am so grateful to Janet for being a wonderful VRBO host, making this family trip a success. I hope you can make wonderful memories here as well!
So thankful that we were able to stay at this property. We are a family of four with two teenagers. Location was excellent and the condo was spacious. The view from the lanai was spectacular. The condo had everything we needed and more.
