The spacious living area offers palm-printed, newly reupholstered rattan furnishings, there is indoor and outdoor dining, and a den area that serves as a media room with a Smart TV. The master bedroom has island inspired decor, a king bed, Roku TV, en-suite, walk-in closet and ocean views while the second bedroom offers two twin beds and TV with basic cable. You will enjoy breathtaking views from the 375 sq. ft. wrap-around lanai and use of a Weber gas grill, perfect for sunset family BBQs. Guests of Kumulani at Mauna Kea A1 may purchase resort access to use the Mauna Kea Resort Club facilities during your stay for $120/day in 2024 (2025 rates have yet TBD & are subject to change) + tax, per RESERVATION (not per person). Purchase of this membership includes the following privileges at the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel and the Westin Hapuna Beach Hotel facilities: Charging privileges at both hotels for dining and activities, access to hotel beaches and pools, use of towels, lounge chairs, umbrellas, reduced golf rates, tennis (court fees apply), use of two fitness centers (yoga and group classes available for a fee), and an access card for preferred parking at the hotel.
Please note: Exterior painting to the Kumulani Recreation Center will be done between 5/06/24 to 5/25/24. Access will be available during most of these dates except from 5/20/24 to 5/25/24 to allow for proper prepping of the floors along with the curing process. Dates are subject to change based on weather.
Starting April 2024, the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel will be undergoing a major renovation. The hotel is not planned to be closed entirely - instead the renovation will occur in sections which may, at times, cause interruptions to golf, tennis and hotel services.
