The Space:
Newly renovated, oceanfront 1-bedroom condo located on the Windward side of Oahu. This property is located in the "country" part of the island with semi-private beach access. You will see chickens, geckos, insects and other creatures too as they are a normal part of country island living!
***IMPORTANT NOTICE! The building has ongoing construction and renovations being done (as of May 2022) from 8am-5pm, M-F that WILL cause noise during your stay (think jack-hammering on neighboring unit’s balconies). Please plan on some unsightly construction scaffolding and signs. We are aware of the potential impacts to your stay and have discounted the nightly rates to reflect this. We want to make sure you are aware of this before booking your stay with us.
This unit is located on a mid-level floor, accessible by two secured elevators.
It has 1 bedroom with a queen size bed and twin/full size bunk bed. The living space has 1 full size pull out couch. Washer/dryer, Wifi and AC located inside unit. New appliances, kitchenware, linens, towels, television, etc. Features full kitchen and bathroom, with plenty of dish soap, laundry soap, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, paper towels, and toilet paper for your stay.
Guests have access to entire condo, beach, and fitness center, as well as barbecue area, pool area and grass area with lounge chairs. There is reserved parking for 1 car included and more parking along the road. 24/7 security.
Enjoy sipping your morning cup of coffee from the unit's lanai (balcony) and watch the sunrise with your loved ones. You can often see whales and sea turtles just off the shore! The beach is protected by a reef full of colorful fish and sea turtles, and creates a very calm and safe swimming and snorkeling area right in front of the condo. Take a walk down the shore in the evening to see turtles beaching themselves for the night!

When I booked this, it was brand new on vrbo with no reviews, so I was taking a chance -- and I am so glad I did! We LOVED our stay!
Pros:
-Right on the beach! That breathtaking picture is exactly the view from the balcony. You don't even need to cross a street, the beach is just right downstairs. And although no beach is private in Hawaii, there's no reason for anyone who isn't staying there to go to this beach, so it feels private.
-Clean and comfortable.
-Responsive hosts, easy check-in and check-out.
-Multiple beds in the bedroom, so none of us had to use the couch.
-All the basics provided, including beach equipment. (A strainer in the kitchen would be ideal)
-The sink located outside the room with the toilet&shower made it easier for multiple people to share a bathroom; e.g. one person could be brushing their teeth while another person was having a shower.
-The view out the front door was also gorgeous, of a mountain.
Cons:
-The bedroom is a bit warm, and noisy from the highway; the multiple fans definitely helped with both issues.
Note:
-Away from it all, definitely not in a touristy area. For us that was a huge positive, but if you're the type of person who wants to party all night in Waikiki, this isn't the place for you. If you want quiet beach time to unwind, with the possibility of driving to sights around the island, then don't hesitate!

Condo was very nice and perfect for our family. Owner was so great to work with and very responsive. The condo had everything we needed so we didn’t have to buy a bunch of stuff. The beach was fabulous and literally right out the door. The property was being renovated and should make the overall eye appeal much better. We loved the area, as it wasn’t over crowded and hard to get around. There are food options and stores close to get what you need. It’s also super close to the Polynesian Cultural Center. We would definitely go back in a heartbeat. Thanks for sharing your place with us.
