We stayed for a total of 6 days/5 nights. The house was beyond clean and well stocked. The drive to this gated home is really nice and the backyard is absolutely breathtaking! Our host was very responsive and extremely attentive and welcoming. She even checked in with us to make sure everything was going well and we had no issues. Our family consists of 6 teenagers/adults and we were all very comfortable. I would highly recommend staying here as it is away from all the hustle and bustle from the other parts of the island.
The house was beautifully decorated and was very clean. When we had trouble unlocking the front door, Kathy was able to help us quickly. Everything we needed to enjoy our stay was there.
This home was very clean (including the gas grill) and very well appointed. The kitchen had all that we needed to make meals for five people and the appliances and utensils are all upper-end. The same is true with the towels - very nice - and we had glass plates and glasses (unusual for rentals). Faucets (Koehler) and appliances were also upper-end. Beds were very comfortable and each bedroom has its own air conditioner. The owners thought of everything to make our stay comfortable and perfect. The property manager was VERY nice and attentive. The view is spectacular - mountains and ocean. We watched the fireworks on New Years Eve. The outside deck ... well, none of us wanted to leave. We ate all of our meals outside and were not bothered by any bugs. VERY comfortable and we wished we could identify all the birds we saw and heard. We felt very safe and the guards at the entrance gate were very friendly. The speed humps on the roads around Oahu get frustrating, but are necessary. A wonderful hike is up the road from the house (about 14 miles) - where the road ends (a State Park). A 2.2 mile walk with amazing coastal and mountain views, seals, whales and albatrosses watching their nests. Another wonderful hike is about 10 minutes away in the other direction. Waianae is not the greatest town, but the house is well worth the drive outside Honolulu and its suburbs. North Oahu is very crowded and the East Coast has amazing beaches. Yes, I could easily live here.
The home was very well equipped and Kathy was an excellent host! Her home is a very modern newer build in a gated community that is still under development. It looks like the clubhouse and community pool are being built and very close proximity to the home. The community is at the farthest west end of the island so getting to north shore and HNL area requires some commute about 40-65 minutes depending on construction and traffic. The community is away from the hustle bustle of the vacation spots and among the locals. The back yard patio was exceptional! We enjoyed having our coffee out there while waiting on our teens. Our family of 6 had a very comfortable stay in this home for 5 nights. Kathy was very accommodating and great at communicating with us during our stay. The home was especially clean and tidy with comfortable furniture and beds.

We really enjoyed this house. It is basically brand new, very clean, and really well kept. The valley it is in is so cool and picturesque. The only drawback we found with it was the distance to Honolulu if we were going there but that wasn’t a big deal. The owner was great to work with. We would def book it again if we go back.
