Great location next to Magic Sands beach. Home is quiet, nice community pool. Great home layout- appreciated the air conditioning in the bedrooms, and listening to the ocean at night. Needed more towels!

This property is absolutely perfect! Great location, great accommodations and the kitchen has everything you need. The bedrooms can get warm even with the AC units, but we knew that getting into it. The owners were very responsive to a few small issues we had and were very kind. Book this place, we will definitely be back!
Our family really enjoyed our stay and still can’t stop talking about the views. The property has a convenient location near grocery stores, Walmart and lots of activities. We can’t wait to return!

Beautiful home and outdoor area, overlooking the pool and the ocean. We loved waking up in the morning and enjoying the views over coffee, and the kids loved easy access to the pool. There is a gorgeous, fully stocked kitchen, and the location is a close drive to Kona shopping and restaurants. We will definitely be back!

Prepare for breathtaking views from the Lanai (back covered porch) the reason for four Stars in Location was because there are no hiking trails and grocery stores near the property without a vehicle. Large grocery store chains are about 10-20 minutes drive. The pool is amazing, heated Jacuzzi is a total wow. BBQ grill, and French press as well as regular coffee maker. The home was clean and well appointed. Unfortunately we saw issues with the maintenance staff. They persisted in parking in our assigned shaded spot leaning us to park in the sun everyday. They painted all the parking spots while we were here blocking us out and they parked in our spot even before and after painting.
The pool maintenance people had not checked the hot tub water level for at least 2 days and it gurggled and sputtered for those first 2 days. We are leaving today and is is low on water again. park

House was perfect and the kitchen was stocked the best I have ever seen in a VRBO. The host was kind enough to supply a starter coffee set, trash backs, laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent. The only thing I forgot to ask was did the unit have a/c. Many properties in Kona do not.
The unit does not have central air conditioning, but the upstairs bedrooms have stand alone units. For me it was not enough in the hot part of the day but my friend staying downstairs was just fine. It all depends on your preference.
The pool was amazing and I can't say enough good things about the host.

The only negative is the lack of central air conditioning. As advertised, the bedrooms had air conditioners. The fans and breeze from the windows were helpful, but we were uncomfortable much of the time.
Beautiful and great pool. Would not recommend staying in august or hottest months. Only master bedroom had an external standing air conditioner. Not comfortable temperature in that room. The rest of the place had no air conditioning. Impossible to sleep.
Even better than advertised. Incredible views and perfect accommodations. Even provided snorkel and beach gear. We loved the location near everything we wanted to do. I highly recommend!
Beautiful unit, very spacious and comfortable.Quiet and good separation between bedrooms which was great with small kids. Kitchen was so well appointed; fridge was huge, and it was so pleasant to be in the kitchen looking out at the waves crashing on the rocks just outside. The beach closet was well stocked with snorkel sets, boogie boards, noodles, etc. Our kids were so happy ! Beautiful views from the lanai- perfect for relaxed evenings. Highly recommend this beautiful spot !

What a terrific vacation! We would definitely stay here again. We were out and about around the island on most days, but a peaceful and quiet place to return to every evening.
Family trip- 2 parents and 2 teenagers. Enjoyed the space to spread out. Only improvement to suggest would be an AC unit in the downstairs bedroom. Plenty of kitchen supplies and beach equipment.
The views from the unit were beautiful, some of us woke up early and enjoyed the morning crashing waves. The sunsets were breathtaking and it was in close driving range from downtown Kona. The description says AC, however that is only true in 2 of the rooms, the rest of the house is very warm throughout the day, even with the ventilated window strategy. Beaches were in walking distance, not on the property, but the pool was nice and clean. No shoes were allowed in the house, that was a surprise for us, and we did encounter some bugs, including cockroaches. Overall it was a wonderful trip, a great location for our family, and will provide lasting positive memories for all of us.
The house is fantastic and exactly as described. The lanai overlooks the pool and the ocean and a great location for a home base. The kitchen is so well stocked with everything you need- even a blender to make a smoothie. We appreciated the cooler and ice bags so we could pack a picnic for Volcanoes National Park. There are 2 bedrooms on the 2nd floor each with a bathroom. The one with the king bed has a balcony that also overlooks the pool and ocean. When we were there, the weather was hot, but there was a portable AC in each of the upstairs bedrooms so that was helpful. Our kids stayed in the room downstairs and it was made with 2 twin beds. It is really part of the family room - though there are doors that can be pulled to separate it- but no one can be in the living room without keeping those in that space awake. No AC in that area, but the ceiling fan kept it OK. I would stay here again and recommend it!
Everything about this house and surroundings contributed to making this trip exceptional.

We absolutely loved everything about our stay here. My favorite was just listening to the ocean while falling asleep at night. Amazing experience, highly recommended.
This is a really special complex of 12 or so units, beautifully sited for privacy and views. Our unit was beautiful, well equipped and located. The sliding doors and wooden staircase are fantastic. There is some structural work on the deck/lanai that should be done in the near future.

We enjoyed our stay thoroughly. The lanai, the upstairs patio and the tranquility of the oceans’ lullaby ever night as well as the nightly sunsets in the volcanic rock tide pools beachside were highlights. However it was a condo complex so neighbors were close. I would not return in summer months as there was no a/c in communal areas of our unit (I don’t like it too warm).
We were a group of 6 adults that enjoyed this beautiful property for 2 weeks.You cannot beat the view and location of this house.We always felt safe and the area was very quiet.We often had the pool to ourselves, but was never over crowded even when other residents were around. We saw many whales and dolphins right from our lanai and the pool area.The kitchen is very well stocked and clearly labeled where everything is located. There was enough toiletries, dish soap, laundry detergent etc for our 2 week stay. There are coolers, beach towels, chairs, umbrellas, snorkeling gear etc. available. A lot of this equipment is in a locked area in the parking lot, which we didn’t realize for a few days after we arrived. Make sure you read the binder when you first arrive!
There are only a couple of things worth mentioning.The main floor bedroom is a bit crowded for 2 adults with not much closet space or room to set luggage. A mirror would be a nice addition to this bedroom.
We used the lower lanai the most out of any other area of the house. Unfortunately, the furniture is quite weathered and needs to be refinished or replaced. We found the cushions too large for the chairs and uncomfortable to sit on. A ceiling fan would be nice for air movement. These are all 1st world problems!
Overall, this is a beautiful property and we would book again in a heartbeat!
