Everything is as represented on VRBO. Barbara was prompt in responding to all questions. We had absolutely no problems during our stay. The unit is situated between two amazing beaches perfect for swimming with snorkeling at each end. We sat on the lanai every chance we had watching turtles every morning and beautiful sunsets every evening. We have stayed in several VRBO listings over the years and I have to say that this kitchen had virtually everything we could ever ask and was well stocked. This condo receives our high recommendation.

The property was an excellent choice. Every thing worked out fine and we loved the stay in Kihei. Of note, the door was unlocked when we got there. Also, the roof code was incorrect. We adjusted it on the materials in the room.

Our stay was great! The condo was very comfortable and in a fabulous location with an incredible view - including the sea turtles! The building is well maintained and everyone we encountered was friendly and respectful. We hope to be back again!
The apartment is fine. There are no blinds on the windows and unfortunately that was not mentioned in any of the reviews. We liked a lot bathroom and kitchen amenities. Also it’s great to have everything you need for beach. It is warm during the night as you can’t open the curtains to let the breeze in as there are no blinds. It’s great view from the terrace.
Wonderful location, comfortable, everything we needed! Gorgeous sunset views right off the balcony, amazing beaches right outside the door, and a quick walk to restaurants and shopping. Couldn’t have asked for a better place for our first trip to Maui!
Wife, Daughter (19) and I stayed for 6 nights. We loved this condo. Very clean, great location to shopping, restaurants and close (50 - 200 yards) to 2 popular beaches and snorkeling. 5-10 minute drive to more but pretty much walking distance to all you need. Easy free parking is a plus too. Host was exceptional with all responses and condo has great information booklets. She even has ice chest, chairs, snorkel assessories, umbrella and other beach toys for guest use. Great roof top bbq and pool on site too. Note: No AC but only 2 nights in June were a little hot but trade winds kept unit cool enough for us with ceiling fans and lanai sliding door and windows open. We plan to visit again and will be choosing this condo and host again. Best family vacation ever!
Was absolutely wonderful! The sunsets, view, turtles all along the waterfront, the condo was clean and stocked very well.
Can't beat the view. Access to beach was amazing. Could see the turtles right from the balcony. Kitchen had everything you need. Lack of AC for me would be an issue after late May.Biggest drawback for me was the very uncomfortable beds. I would recommend updating the mattresses on all of the beds. Otherwise it would be 5 stars for me outside of the summer months.
From the moment you walk in you know you’re on Maui, and you know you chose the perfect place to stay! The views, the location, perfect! The condo is well equipped and Barbara was a dream to work with. If we are ever blessed enough to return to Maui I can’t imagine staying anywhere else! :-) Mahalo Barbara!
Barbara’s Royal Mauian condo was perfect for our family vacation. Unbelievable views in every direction, the ease of walking right down to the beach (and running back up for any forgotten items), the close proximity to Kihei shops and restaurants in walking distance all made for a very easy vacation. The condo itself was very clean and well-stocked both in the kitchen, with linens, and with beach items. We plan to book another stay here if available next year!
We love this location and condo! The condo was clean and a perfect size for our family of 4. The views and ocean sounds are the best. It is well stocked with kitchen supplies and linens. The beach chairs, umbrella and cooler were so great to have. We were there in March and having no AC was not a problem. With the windows open, the breeze was perfect. We would definitely come back to this location and highly recommend it.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this condo the second week of March. The temperature was perfect throughout the unit, cleaning was impeccable, and we have never stayed in a place so well stocked. We were happy to pay it forward. You can hear traffic at times, but we only found it intrusive once when there were necessary sirens. Our second evening there, we were thrilled to witness whales breaching as we sat on the balcony. Sunsets were always enjoyable, and turtles grazed and floated right in front of the property every morning. One came up onto the beach right beside the property and I was able to get fabulous sunset pictures with her in the foreground.Snorkeling is great from the beach from either end of the property – no need to go anywhere. There are plenty of restaurants and a grocery store nearby, and we found the location ideal for exploring the island from one end to the other. We will happily seek out this unit for a future visit.

This condo deserves a 10 . The views are gorgeous , the unit is very clean and comfortable and the kitchen is stocked better than my own . We watched the sunset from the roof top terrace and also used the grills every night . Highly recommend staying here .
Clean and well-stocked condo in perfect Kihei location. Beautiful beach and ocean views from the lanai. Lots of beach towels, chairs, and umbrellas.
I have stayed at many of the Royal Mauian rooms.
This unit was spectacularly supplied. Some unit that I have stayed at completely clean out every single item between guests and have a bare minimum of ancillary items.
This unit had as much as would be reasonable to leave in the unit. (Spices, sauces, non-perishables).
The unit also had a great supple of beach equipment. All new or near new Beach chairs (4, two of them still unopened), 4 snorkel sets, 2 never used).
It’s also worth mentioning that you can snorkel right outside the unit and see a wonderful collection of sea life, turtles, fish, coral, etc.
I would be remiss if I didn’t mention that the unit DOES not have AC. Fans in every room, but no AC. For October it was no big deal but during the hot months it may be a little unbearable for some people that like to sleep cool.
We have been to Maui 25+ times over the years and this is now one of our new favorite places to stay. Beautiful views, fantastic location and very nice, updated condo. Barbara was great with communication and every part of the process was smooth. Highly recommend, would definitely stay here again!
Beautiful condo, 10/10 views and experience. Truly feels like a home away from home. I’ve been to Maui many times before but my partner has not and this unit could not have been any better for his first time there.

We notified Barbara day after arrival of problems with opening front door, unable to use TV and master toilet running. She sent three different residents to try showing us how TV operates - none could make the set fully operational. No one ever came to fix these problems and we had no TV during stay until relatives came over and made it work by making separate moves on two remotes. The unit was in good condition and clean. We left with sheets clean and dry and towels in washer.
We had a great visit to Kihei. The condo was lovely. Updated, well-stocked, and clean! The view was fantastic! Enjoyed watching whales right from the Lanai. We had a concern about the fridge and Barbara addressed it immediately and got a repair person out to the condo. Would stay there again in a heartbeat!
We have rented lots of vacation homes and this condo was one of the best stocked we have had! The location was close to all we wanted and easy to get across the island to other activities. Watching the whales off the balcony was a definite bonus. Grills on the rooftop were very clean and well maintained. Thank you for the use of your condo!
