Wish I could give this property 5 stars. Let me start off by stating that this property is ideal if you plan on spending most of your time at the magic sand beach which is right next door & was the highlight of this location. It’s a bit of a driving distance to any shopping centers. The property itself was very clean & had all of the amenities as we like to cook our own meals due to dietary restrictions beach chairs/umbrella. There is a restaurant called Magic Beach Grill right next-door that over looks the beach & convenient for beach goers. There’s a designated parking spot so you don’t have to worry about parking. Our meals on the lanai were breathtaking with the views of the Pacific Ocean & wonderful sunsets. Cons: the unit is located on the 2nd floor and since it’s an older building there is no elevator. The AC in the unit is VERY sensitive, it did not work great for us when we needed it too. The host was very prompt in addressing concerns. However, the AC would not work even if you cracked open the door a little. When we checked in, unfortunately, the refrigerator wasn’t working, which we did not find out till the next day when the host informed us after we reached out regarding the AC unit. He did have a mini refrigerator that was working, however because we did our own cooking, storage was an issue for us. Since the unit is next to a beach & on a main road there tends to be some noise later part of the afternoon. Overall we enjoyed our stay here & would return.

Perfect little place with the best sunset views every night. No issues with the stay at all, owner was easy to work with as well.
We loved this little home away from home. We did a lot of traveling, so it was the perfect location for us.
Fit out needs as a place to stay. Owner is very responsive to any problem that occurred during our stay.Some of the units are undergoing remodeling so it’s a little noisy from about 8-4 during the day.It would be a perfect place to stay if it had an elevator. For us senior citizens!

This place was amazing. Everything we needed. It was clean and we absolutely loved the lanai. Coffee and breakfast while watching the waves and fish. It is so close to the Ocean. I miss the sound of the waves and the birds. Dolphins swam by which was awesome. The beach was so close and the water was so clear. Swimming was perfect. Sunsets were breathtaking. The location is perfect. We can't wait to go back and will definetly book 209 again. Mahalo. 🌴
Centrally located on Kona side, the condo was on the 2nd floor with a balcony (one of a few)
Complete privacy. The condo was very clean and updated. Bed was comfortable. This is a very nice place to stay. Loved having morning coffee, eating meals, watching sunsets, seeing tropical fish in the waves, and spotting spinner dolphins on the balcony. It was hard to say good bye.
The studio is in an amazing location between 2 beaches and plenty of food options within 5 mins. We saw fish from our 2nd floor patio. It was very modern and clean and just perfect for us.
The best part was Abra who was so quick to answer and help with anything we needed! Have to say it’s hands best the best property manager we have worked with! Thanks Abra

We had the best time staying in your sweet, sweet place. It was decorated beautifully and had everything we could have wished for. The sunsets on the lanai were spectacular as well as the constant ocean sounds and breeze. We highly recommend this cute condo.
My wife and I had a great stay at this Magic Sands condo. The unit was as advertised and was immaculately clean upon arrival. The unit was updated which was nice. Our favorite spot was sitting on the balcony overlooking the ocean at any time of the day.
The bathroom was also updated and clean.
Saw other comments saying the waves at night kept them awake. For us it wasn't bad and if anything we slept better at night.
The building itself is older but is kept clean and the location is great. We used the pool several times and then sat poolside getting some sun. Magic Sands beach is right next door and we enjoyed watching the wake boarders riding the waves. The unit comes with a reserved parking site on property.
Amazing views, beautiful , updated and clean property. Location was ideal and options for bar and restaurant. Been to Kona Kailua many times and will stay here again if given the chance
We’ve stayed in several units at Magic Sands and highly recommend this one. Very clean and updated. AC works great. View is spectacular. Even though waves were unusually high so we didn’t get to snorkel right outside this time, we loved watching whales, dolphins, and sunsets from the lanai. We would definitely stay here again and look forward to planning another trip as soon as we can.
This is a nice little condo perfect for a couple. It was clean, well organized and appointed sufficiently for our needs.
Our stay was perfect! The condo appears to have been newly renovated. It was clean, had an amazing view and was very comfortable. Would definitely recommend!!

We had a fabulous vacation and our condo was perfect. Had everything we needed and very cute & clean. My only recommendation would be better pillows! Otherwise it was 5/5!
Looking forward to another visit. Shopping is only mintues away. Being able to be on the beach in 90 seconds was awesome. Having a great little restaurant and bar right down stairs was a plus. The condo itself was pefect for our needs. I would definitely recommend staying here. One of the few units with a balcony. Watching the sunset from it just made it so much better.

Had most everything we needed, including beach chairs & beach umbrella and some snacks on arrival. Did not realize that the washer and dryer was not inside the condo, but instead a shared laundry facility downstairs and sorta secluded after dark. That is the only real negative. It is a noisy area during the day, but not a problem since I weighed the proximity to the oceanfront and sunset view over the noise level.

We loved our stay. The studio was just right for 2 of us. Had breakfast on the lanai almost everyday and watched the yellow tangs we could see in the waves from the second floor! Great base for exploring the island. We especially liked the snorkeling at Kahalu’u Bay just a short drive away.
Great location!!! We saw a dolphin swim right passed our view and the sunset was stunning. The hosts were easy to communicate with; quick to respond.
