Zuki House is a modern and elegant vacation rental close to the ocean. Enjoy our ocean view balcony upstairs outside the main bedroom suite. Our high ceilings and bright, modern furnishings give you comfort and style to enjoy throughout your stay. Experience the inspiring nature of Hawaii Island including volcanoes, dashing waterfalls, colorful botanical gardens and lush jungles. Enjoy local restaurants from a variety of cultures including 'local' comfort food, Thai, Japanese (sushi), Chinese, Vietnamese and so much more.

Zuki House occupancy is 6 guests. We have three bedrooms, one with a king bed, and the other two with queen beds. Also, two full bathrooms. One bedroom and bathroom is upstairs in the loft with a balcony lanai with ocean views. On the main floor are the other two bedrooms, full bathroom, kitchen, dining area, living room and covered wrap around lanai. Enjoy the ocean sound and breezes from the outside. The yard is nicely manicured and our hot tub is perfect for star gazing at night. There's a nice outdoor shower too.

Located in Pahoa on the east side of Hawaii Island, Zuki House is close to the newest black sand beach on the island, created by the 2018 lava flows. Pohoiki is an amazing site to drive to through cooled lava fields about a 30 minute drive from Zuki House. Hawaii Volcanoes National Park is about a 45 minute drive and the Pahoa Lava Museum is about a 10 minute drive.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Excellent house for exploring the eastern side of Big Island. We were planning to just day trip from Kona, but at the last minute found Zuki house and we are so glad we did. Lovely property with modern bathrooms, large deck and hot tub. We BBQd and enjoyed the sounds of the tropics. House is close to other properties but still feels private. Stayed in December/Jan 2023 and the weather was perfect - a gentle warm breeze. House has new and effective ceiling fans which kept us cool at night. Property was also spotlessly clean.

Wonderful stay on beautiful coast. Recently remodeled property with great showers/bathrooms , kitchen and tropical paradise garden. Very clean with all new kitchen equipment. Property is close to others but neighborhood is quiet and good quality blinds give privacy. Drive on government road and walks along coast were stunning. Hot tub unexpected bonus. We stayed January 2023 and weather was perfect. Ceiling fans kept everyone comfortable.

This is a beautiful house and property. It’s a bit out if the way away from everything but right near the water. Cell service for me was a little spotty and I had to drive back towards town and take screen shots of the check in email to make sure I could access the door code before I had connected to wifi (whoops!) Also, one suggestion would be being some extension cords (or maybe the property owner could provide them) as the outlet near the upstairs bed wasn’t that convenient to access behind the headboard.

Great property! The house was very comfortable and adequately stocked. We loved the hot tub and outdoor shower. Grandma, and parents loved to walk around the corner to watch the surf pound on the rocks. Kids were more interested in finding beaches to play on. We went to Hilo (40+minutes) and just north for that and more. Great access to Volcanoes National Park (50 minutes). The local farmers market was really fun with nice produce and crafts. Weather was very kind to us and the frogs didn’t keep us up (as some warned us they might). This was our first time to the big island and we were very pleased. Thanks for your hospitality!
