I was locked out of the condo the first night checking in. I called only received a voicemail explaining Parish was closed, I went to Parish live chat, I called security, the fire department station 3, called a locksmith was quoted $500 to drill the hole, I had to knock on the neighbors door to see if they knew who owned the condo. I have a seizure disorder and my medication was locked in the condo. I had two young children with me. The VRBO advertisement listed 24/7 emergency security access. I called the VRBO agents as well as the Parrish staff and they were extremely unhelpful and couldn’t get ahold of anyone to help us. They said we were out of luck. This was ridiculous that this condo advertises 24/7 emergency help and we were without the help we needed. We left after waiting 2 hours and 30 min while the neighbors were outside with us this entire evening in the pouring rain. Someone finally showed up from the Parish Collection and let us grab my cell phone that was locked inside on the kitchen table and the two bags the kids carried in.
