Island Sands 609 is a one-bedroom, one-bathroom 6th floor condo that sleeps 4. Step inside the large slider doors of the lanai right into the tropical and modern living area featuring a large flat screen TV and new furnishings. New laminate wood floors throughout make the space feel bright and open. The fully equipped kitchen is perfect for making meals where you can enjoy ocean views while you prep! This condo stays cool with a split A/C in the living room and bedroom (covering front and back of condo), ceiling fans, and wonderful ocean breezes.

The master bedroom is a serene and tranquil place to call it quits after a long day in the sun, featuring a luxurious King size bed and mirrored closet for all your things. The convenient bathroom is just steps away and features a tub/shower combo which is great for families. Pack light! There is a washer and dryer in the unit for your convenience. The sofa converts to a Queen size bed for an additional guest. This condo comes equipped with cable TV, and complimentary WiFi.

Island Sands Resort is an oceanfront resort that offers a pool, BBQ area, and koi pond. This resort is located at Ma'alaea Bay, near many attractions, shops and restaurants. Walk to Maui Ocean Center (Aquarium), take a sunset sail or whale watching tour from the nearby harbor, play miniature golf and more at Maui Golf & Sports Park, or shop at the Maui Harbor Shops. Ma'alaea is located in central Maui, bringing you closer to many excursions such as Hana or Haleakala. There are no resort or parking fees.

The property itself was a disappointment. The air conditioner is so loud. You can’t sit on the deck when it’s running. The pool was freezing. The welcome gift advertised on the pitcher. Turns out to be a melted chocolate bar and two little bags of nuts. The property managers were exceptional and dealt with issues rapidly, but it is not a property we would recommend to others.
