Our breezy Cottage with 180 degree ocean views and private pool and spa sits at a cool elevation about 10 minutes from Kailua Kona. The home is located on the Walua walking trail and minutes from snorkeling, shopping, and dining. PLEASE NOTE: The property is in the tropics and there are geckos and insects present. The property has monthly pest control but some insects are inevitable. There is absolutely no smoking allowed anywhere on the premises including driveways. Pool deck, pool, and spa use is for private guest use only when guests are present but hosts live in the main house on the property. There is NO air conditioning in the cottage as we are at a cool elevation. There are ceiling fans in nearly every room. DISCLOSURE;

There are Coqui frogs in our neighborhood as well but nothing like what they have out in the Hilo sides. There are rarely seen but heard just around and after sunset.
WE HAVE YOUNG CHILDREN, THE POOL DECK AND POOL ARE SHARED USE FOR YOU, AND OUR FAMILY. GENERALLY HOWEVER WE STAY OFF THE DECK IF WE SEE THAT YOU ARE USING IT! POOL IS SOLAR HEATED ONLY. NOT ELECTRIC HEATED
POOL FLOATS PICTURED HERE OR ON WEBSITE MAY NOT STILL BE IN USE AT THE TIME OF YOUR RENTAL. THERE WILL BE HOWEVER, BE SOME POOL FLOATS IN USE!
PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT THIS IS HAWAII SO WE HAVE GECKOS AND OTHER TYPICAL INSECTS THAT COME WITH THE "HAWAII EXPERIENCE" OCCASIONALLY THEY MAKE THEIR WAY INTO THE COTTAGE!

THERE IS A PUP AND 3 CATS THAT LIVE ON PROPERTY. THEY ARE OUTDOOR PETS AND WE ASK THAT OUR GUESTS NOT ALLOW THEM INTO THE COTTAGE. WE CANNOT GUARANTEE THAT AT SOME POINT THE PETS HAVE NOT BEEN ALLOWED IN. IF YOU HAVE SENSITIVE ALLERGIES PLEASE CONSIDER THIS PRIOR TO PAYMENT AS REFUNDS WILL NOT BE ISSUED ONCE PAYMENTS HAVE BEEN MADE TO HOLD RESERVATIONS.
HOT TUB DOES NOT RUN 24/7 RUN TIMES ARE FROM APPROX 5:30 PM TO 9PM. WE CAN ARRANGE FOR 24/7 HOT TUB USE AT $25 PER DAY.
THE COTTAGE IS STOCKED WITH AN INITIAL SUPPLY OF TOILET PAPER, PAPER TOWEL, AND DISH SOAP. YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR REPLACING ITEMS AS YOU NEED THEM. WE DO NOT RESTOCK THESE ITEMS TROUGH OUT YOUR STAY. THERE IS NO MAID SERVICE EACH DAY. THE COTTAGE WILL BE CLEANED FOR YOUR ARRIVAL AND ONCE AGAIN AFTER YOU CHECK OUT~

Park at the bottom of the driveway next to pool deck and main house garage. Walk across the pool deck to the sliders and you will find a lock box with the key for the slider.

We have two ridiculously friendly dogs and a very friendly kitty cat. While they would be thrilled to come inside and snuggle with you please don't let them into the rental-they are outside animals.

This is such a comfortable cottage. Not too far from modern conveniences, but nestled in the hill with the rural feeling of "getting away." Pool and hot tub were wonderful amenities. This place had everything we needed and more. And the hosts were amazing, kind and lovely. Definitely a great choice!
