With modern yet Hawaiian inspired furnishings and decor, your Maui experience continues inside! Cool blues and warm wood tones make this third floor condo inviting, relaxing and very cozy. Here you'll enjoy the comforts of home including: a well appointed kitchen, a restful living area with a flat screen TV and complimentary WiFi. For additional guests, the couch converts to a Queen bed. This condo sleeps up to four guests.
Step inside the Master Bedroom and you'll find a luxurious California King size bed. The tropical and tasteful furniture and decor continues! Providing you a serene and comfortable place to rest after those long fun days in the sun! The convenient bathroom is just steps away and features a walk in shower with plenty of space for your belongings.
Between the lanai and the ceiling fans throughout the condo, you'll be able to keep cool on those warmer days. That said, the condo does feature a single air conditioning unit in the main living area. Please note there are NO elevators on this property.
Kuleana is well known for its grounds which are located on seven acres with walkways surrounded by gorgeous plumeria and ironwood trees, all types of hibiscus, ginger, and palms. The Kuleana complex consists of 7 low rise buildings (no higher than 3 floors). Most locations in Maui require you to drive somewhere, but Kuleana has its own SECRET – a pocket beach, a beautiful little cove situated within the gated grounds. While you will not find coral formations that equal Kapalua Bay (just 2.3 miles north), you will be able to snorkel among schools of reef fish and swim among green turtles without leaving the resort. There is a large, heated swimming pool suitable for lap swimming, a tennis court, putting green and a shuffleboard court. In the lanai-like lobby, you will find a ping-pong table, an honor library, an activity booking desk, and reception. There is an on-site coin laundry and free parking. A popular feature of the resort is the four BBQ grill area situated on the ocean's edge. Watching the sunset over the sea and the lighting of the tiki torches, while grilling, is a memorable experience.
*Posted 9/11/24: Unit #318 Unit renovation. As part of that renovation there will be noise generated when new tile will be cut. This work is scheduled to be done during the week of 9/16/24. The noise is expected to be intermittent during that week, and the contractor will make every effort to minimize the amount of noise and how long it lasts.
Our on-island team also provides the following starter items: dish soap, laundry soap, and dryer sheets. Also provided is complimentary Papaya Noni shampoo, conditioner, body lotion and body soap.

The condo was very nice and the grounds beautiful. We would stay again. Unfortunately, we were there when Hurricane Dora passed by. We lost power from the wind and headed into Lahaina searching for coffee in the morning. We ended up heading to Kihei for the day and then returned passing through Lahaina about forty five minutes before the fire shut down the road. We were very lucky to not have been there at the wrong time.
The resort has propane BBQs that came in handy for residents to cook on, since the power was out. People came together and shared what food they had. The resort also housed some of those who had just been evacuated from Lahaina.

Everything was lovely as far as condo, location and grounds. No shade or umbrellas at pool. Only two mismatched beach towels w/ no in unit washer. I understand people are disrespectful and hard on short term rentals however the constant stream of negative emails, texts and posted messages in the condos was a lot. The 10 am checkout seemed to garner the most threats followed by the loss of pool key. I removed one star for this reason.

Great spot, close to pool but quieter than expected. Great whales, turtles and surfing off the property.
Place was clean, really nice dishware and well stocked cabinets.

We rented the condo at Kahana. It was very nicely decorated and supplied with what ever you need to cook a meal. The bed was very comfortable. We have stayed at this condo complex several times but this was the first in this condo. It had a nice view and a great balcony. The pictures are very accurate. The air conditioner is in the bedroom and keep us cool all night. The fan in the living room was just right for day time. We would stay again.
