Our home is a 10 minute walk from all the surf shops, art galleries, grocery stores, and restaurants of Haleʻiwa. If you come in the winter, you might be lucky enough to walk over to take in the Triple Crown surf competition, where waves can reach 50 feet in height. In this protected cove, you can go for a morning swim in the crystal clear waters and know that the odds of a turtle encounter are pretty darn good. stand up paddleboarding, kayaking, boogie boarding, surfing and snorkling are right outside your door. Look closely and you may see whales spouting or dolphins playing in the distance. The entire North Shore is right at your doorstep, but you might be just as happy hanging out right here! As the sun goes down, head on over to the common area BBQ and picnic tables and talk story with the friendly folks who are lucky enough to live here year-round. Be sure to snap a couple of photos of the glowing sunsets as the sun dips below Kaʻena Point and come back outside one more time after dark to see the countless stars.
