The condo was dirty and poorly furnished. There was a cockroach in the bathroom. Beds were not proper beds, but rather steel cots with dilapidated mattresses. Thick mattress tops were on them to conceal their sorry state and linens were dirty. The view of the ocean would have been fantastic had it not been for the windows being so dirty. The beach umbrella was broken. The owner and property manager were nice enough, but it just didn’t compensate for the highly disappointing aspects of the condo. The property manager replaced the umbrella with two the next day and also came to place roach traps. The condo needs a very deep cleaning and proper furniture. The photos were very misleading. I would not recommend staying here, especially at the cost. See photos below.

A breathtaking location and view in a well maintained home! Owners and management were extremely attentive and the house was completely equipped with all we needed. Perfect week on Kauai.

The property, location, view, and overall experience was fantastic. The kids loved the pool and nearby beaches. The owner was very response and helpful. We would highly recommend staying here this to other families!!!!!

The location is very nice with a pretty awesome view. The place is well stocked and has plenty of kitchen and beach items. We underestimated the amount of stairs. We stayed with our kids and grandkids. Every time we left the condo, it was 42 stairs to navigate, in addition to the stairs to get to the bedroom— keep in mind if you have knee problems or are advanced in years. The info implies an easy walk to Brenneke and Poipu beaches. It’s along the road and mostly uphill going back.Cleanliness is a big deal to me— the bedding (especially pillow covers) were stained and smelled funny. We washed them including the extra pillow cases stored in the closet before using. It is Hawaii and no matter where you stay, it’s a beautiful place! The owners were very responsive and helpful.
This place was perfect for myself and my family. All of us 18 and over. The loft area was great, however you have to be willing to have Someone come to your room to shower. This was not an issue for our kids, or us but just a heads up. There is a 1/2 bathroom down stairs but no shower. The two masters were perfect and the beds were comfortable. They provide everything.. and I mean everything from the beach to the bathroom to the kitchen. All the stuff provided was super nice and we got great use out of all of them. Especially the beach stuff. They provide lots of towels, and lots of beach towels. I would highly recommend this place for the views as we watched whales a few days swimming while we here staying .. 10/10 recommendation. Described perfectly in the listing. Communication was great. Check in and out was great.. until next time Kauai!
It had everything listed! Umbrellas, pack n play, 3 boogie boards, chairs, beach toys, pickleball paddles, great pool and hot tub. It was a short walk or drive to the Hyatt beach as well as poipu beaches. It had lots of extra sheets and towels. And the kitchen was fully stocked! The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning was amazing! You could see the ocean and the pool from the lanai. Be prepared to carry your luggage up a full flight of stairs and down two others. The hosts were great and always responded in a timely manner
The property was in a great location, close to many beaches and with a stunning view of the ocean from the balcony! We had 8 people comfortably stay at this location.
The three bedrooms were perfect for four adults (2 couples) and two children. Quiet with beautiful sunsets/sunrises. Walk to Poipu Beach or Shipwreck Beach was little less than a mile - no complaints. For essentials, Koloa was a short drive. Everything worked well. Beach towels were provided. Kids loved the pool. We would stay again.
We had a marvelous time in your condo. It was just beautiful, and the view was incredible. We were here for our daughter’s wedding in Kauai and your condo was the perfect place to relax and prepare for the wedding. We would definitely stay here again in the future. Thank you for your hospitality!
Location was as listed and home is well stocked. I think we used the body boards and beach chairs every day. Having AC was a huge plus as it was warm when we were there. Really have no complaints. Thank you for letting us stay!
It’s hard to go wrong with a stay in Poipu, it never disappoints! The drawbacks to our stay, parking lot construction made parking and exiting the parking lot very difficult. Other than that, everything was great! I really enjoyed the wine, coffee and snacks that were provided. We also utilized the 3 coolers available to use and the snorkeling equipment. There were tons of towels and when we needed more, it was great to be able to wash them up in the washer and dryer. Thanks for a wonderful and memorable stay in your unit!
We enjoyed our stay in poipu. The condo was great. The location was close to all the things we wanted to do in the south. Thanks for having us.

This was a lovely condo with great views of the pool and ocean. We appreciated the feeling of home away from home. Condo was clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend!
The place was beautiful and very clean. It had all the amenities and was in a great location. The only issue was the air conditioning and 2 fans in the bedrooms did not work. That was somewhat frustrating and we had to resort to opening the doors to get airflow. The issue was resolved by the property manager, but the overall experience was amazing and I would highly recommend this place to stay.
View of the ocean with several glimpses of turtles and porpoises! We loved the location between Shipwreck beach and Poipu Beach - Poipu was our favorite beach with turtles and monk seals resting on the beach daily! Great snorkeling there with lots of fish! The Maha'ulepu Heritage Trail next to Shipwreck Beach was beautiful with ocean views most of the trail - we hiked out 5 miles on it, and then back. The condo was well stocked with beach items - beach chairs, snorkeling gear, beach umbrellas, body boards, etc. The beds were comfortable and we slept well! The artwork in the condo was beautiful - and we recognized several locations as we traveled the island! The people this island is home to are so very friendly - I felt welcome here. What an amazing view and location. The perfect place in a great, safe area with plenty of space for families. A short fun drive to various beach areas, eateries and local shops, not to mention the popular Puka Dog. You havevto make your way to Poipu Beach where the Sea Turtles rest.
I recommend this rental, owners made the entire process very easy.

I strongly recommend staying here, we were very happy! The unit is updated with beautiful art, it was fun to point out the pictures that we saw while visiting the island. The unit was clean and well stocked in kitchen and bathrooms. There were plenty of towels, extra blankets, several sizes of coolers, ice packs. The beach inclusions made the trip so much more enjoyable - the chairs and boogie boards were very appreciated by us! There was also sand toys, snorkel gear and floaties.
The welcome gift of cookies and wine was a thoughtful touch! Communication was very quick. Very last minute we flew in early to avoid a snowstorm back home, and they were very quick to respond to help us coordinate the extra day. Any questions I had were answered very fast as well!
The only negatives, which didn't impact our trip, but could impact others, was that there is a lot of steps to get to the unit (in addition to the two flights in the unit), and the 2nd shower is in the 2nd bathroom, so our daughters in the loft room had to make sure our son was awake to go in and use the bathroom.
Our family was so happy with the condo and the location. Our grandchildren spent mornings in the pool, afternoons at the beach and back in the pool for an evening swim. We saw whales and sea turtles from the balcony and down toward the front end of the property. We had one day of rainy weather on the beach, but we waited it out and continued on with beach play. The condo was spacious and lovely. The artwork throughout is exquisite. We all agreed that this was a property we would come back to in the Poipu area.
We are a family of 8 (4 adults/4 kids, ages 9-13) and we stayed at this property for 2 weeks. The property is in a great location, overlooking the pool area and with lovely ocean view. The condo was well-stocked with supplies/equipment for kitchen, bathrooms, linens/bedding, beach equipment, towels, etc. and we appreciated the thought owners put into making this a comfortable stay for guests.
We found the condo to be a bit cramped for our group of 8, especially the dining/living room areas, and sleeping arrangements for 8 were a bit tricky. A party of 6 would have had more comfort and flexibility with the space. Most of the condo has been nicely updated/remodeled, with a few things still needing some attention.
We felt a couple things should have been disclosed to us before we committed to this property, or even after the fact if they weren’t issues at the time (i.e. that the integrity of lanai rail was under review; and dishwasher was awaiting parts for repair).
All in all, we were happy with our stay at this property and we had a lovely time in Kauai.
When we arrived, we were disappointed with areas that were very dirty and unkept (i.e. baseboards, bathroom corners, windowsills, refrigerator had blood stains, and visible dust and residue on surfaces). Then, we encountered little tiny bugs crawling on the kitchen and bathroom counters. Then, the A/C barely worked so we went to sleep all sweaty... especially the top bedroom almost unbearable. Luckily the owner did respond quickly and brought the cleaner back in the next morning, as well as, lined up A/C repair and bug man. Luckily the A/C did improve, and we were able to look past a lot of the deep cleaning that still needed to be done. The bugs never did go away, but service wasn't completed until our last day.
The reason I'm giving 4/5 stars is there were a lot of positives that can't be overlooked. The beach gear (boogie boards, snorkel gear, wagon, chairs, rolling cooler, beach mat, and several beach towels) were SO nice to have access to! In addition, the pool and ocean view were incredible. We could see the sunset from the master and balcony! And every morning we went to the ocean to watch the sunrise, and the amazing hidden gem out front which was the tunnel bridge was a trip highlight! Also, south side is a plus!
I so wanted to give this a 5-star due to the responsiveness and swift action from the owner, but I want to leave an honest review for prospective renters so they know what they might expect. She did comp our 1st night's rent which was very appreciated.

Condo came as advertised. Nicely redone inside with AC. We had 8 adults in our party and it worked great for us. Great location. Close to so many things in Poipu. The grounds are very clean. The views from the lanai and rooms on that side of the condo are amazing. It is quiet. I highly recommend this condo.
