Welcome to Koa Resort 5i, located across the street from the beautiful beaches of South Maui. With plenty of room for your entire family, Koa Resort 5i is a great spot to kick back and experience the Maui lifestyle. This is a 3-bedroom 2-bathroom second-story condo, completely updated in 2022, that features a modern, fully outfitted kitchen with granite counters, new stainless-steel appliances, a large waterfall-wrapped quartz island with three bar stools, and a dining table with seating for 8. Unit 5i has an open layout, luxury vinyl plank flooring throughout, and modern-yet-comfortable furnishings including a sofa-sleeper couch, loveseat, cozy swivel chairs, and a large flat-screen TV for great entertaining. There is a vaulted wood ceiling for an open, bright, airy feeling. Please note this is an upstairs unit (no elevator on the property). This 3-bedroom 2 bath unit has recently been completely updated in 2022 and can accommodate up to 9 guests (additional guest fee of $15 per night over 6 guests).
A circular staircase leads to a second-floor loft master suite with a sleek ensuite bathroom featuring an oversized walk-in shower with beautiful stone tiles and a natural pebble tile floor. There are also two bedrooms on the main floor: a cozy bedroom with a Queen bed and a bunkroom with double-size bunk beds and twins-size bunk beds (four beds total) for full flexibility and comfort of your family composition. There is a gorgeous Hall bathroom downstairs, fully updated with a tub/shower combo, and a laundry closet with an in-unit washer and dryer. The unit has a split AC in each bedroom and kitchen/living area.
Your group will also enjoy the large lanai shaded by beautiful tropical foliage. Enjoy a view of the grounds through the sliding glass doors to the lanai while you bond over a family meal or board game. Or, sit outside and enjoy snacks and drinks while you prepare dinner and plan the next day’s activities using the free Wi-Fi to look up the area’s entertainment options.
Koa Resort is located across the street from the ocean and only minutes from the white sands of Sugar Beach. Located on the corner of Kulani Hakoi and South Kihei Road, Unit 5i enjoys close access to the corner gate, which allows easy crossing to the beaches on the opposite side of South Kihei Road. It is an easy walk to beaches just across the street to enjoy wonderful sunsets. The convenient location and plethora of Maui activities make Koa Resort very popular, and Unit 5i offers affordable luxury and space that is perfect for bigger families and groups wanting to spend time together comfortably while visiting beautiful Maui.
Kihei, HI is a beautiful place to visit with its sparkling, white sand beaches and breathtaking views of the ocean. The area has a small-town vibe with friendly locals, plenty of amenities, and plenty of sunshine all year round. Kihei is also conveniently located close to many attractions such as Wailea Beach and Makena State Park. With an average temperature of around 78 degrees Fahrenheit, great restaurants and shopping options, Kihei offers something for everyone who loves the outdoors and wants to enjoy the best that Hawaii has to offer.

Spacious condo that allowed our family to gather or spread out over our stay. The zoned AC allowed for our bedrooms to be at the temperature each felt most comfortable at. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals when we weren't eating out. We used the snorkel equipment, beach chairs and umbrella almost daily. The condo is beautifully and tastefully decorated. We used the foosball table and the pool frequently. We enjoyed our stay!

We enjoyed our stay at the property. It is very nice, clean, and well maintained. The property has been updated with nice kitchen cabinets, bathrooms, and furnishings. The unit is well stocked with everything you need. Each bathroom is updated and even the towels were very nice. The Master Bathroom is gorgeous with a large shower. There are AC units in every room so you can control the temperature in the individual rooms. The TV's in every room are a nice touch. The pool was very nice! It wasn't crowded when we were there. The property is close to grocery stores, beaches, Food Truck locations, etc. The Washer and Dryer were very handy for us to wash our clothes from our daily excursions. Parking was easy in the Resort Lot. Communication with the owners was great! All details for check-in and check-out were provided in advance through emails. There's also a very detailed handbook on the coffee table with all the information you could ask for like restaurants, resort info, check-out instructions, etc. There is a flight of stairs outside to the unit and also a spiral staircase inside to the Master Bedroom. The Master Bedroom doesn't have its own door and is open to the floor below. This wasn't a problem for our family. This is a great property to stay at for your visit to Maui!

My family stayed here for a week long getaway. There was plenty of room for the 7 of us. Costco and Walmart are short 20 min drive which helped save some $ since we ate in most of the time. Kitchen is well stocked and we like that they kept leftover seasonings and condiments from previous tenants. The pool is heated to the perfect temp , very clean and nice and deep. We spent many hours on the lanai in the morning and evenings as the trade winds were pleasant. The chairs and beach umbrella went with us to all the beaches we visited in kehei and wailea. There is also snorkel gear and a couple body boards which were perfect. Having AC really made the condo comfortable. And that shower!!! Everyone used it. Very spacious. Management was great to work with and checked in with us to make sure we had what we needed. No complaints. Would stay again.

We stayed with 6 adults and two kids under 4, and we had lots of space. The pool and grounds were very well maintained and the location was lovely. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Our stay was wonderful in Maui. We enjoyed the condo and pool. The bbq area was not inviting and we didn’t like seeing the vehicles in the parking lot under tarps (it looks trashy)

We are a family of 7 with kids ranging from 16 to 1.5 years old. There was plenty of room for us and the unit was clean, updated and centrally located to a number of different areas of the island that we had planned to visit.

The unit was nicely finished and the kitchen well equipped. Easy walk across the street to Keaka Beach. Within a mile of restaurants and shops, and easy walking. Property owner and manager were very easy to communicate with and very nice. Great place for our adult family of six to spend a week! Mahalo!
