Great location! They had couch not a futon as described. Have a daughter and son and they do not share as they are older now but we made it work for the few days before college move in. We love staying at Waikīkī Banyan Condominiums and now with daughter attending HPU we will definitely be back!

Condo was in great condition with modern furniture and fixtures and not over crowded. Plenty of seating and space for everyone to sit on the couch or on the balcony. The balcony was perfect with views of the ocean. Check in and check out was seamless and so easy. We could not have asked for a better stay!
I stayed here for 8 days with my three children. This unit could easily sleep 5 people. The location is great! 5 mins to the zoo and beach. Mark was amazing to deal with. They received last minute notice that the pool would be closed and offered a partial refund.I wouldn't slip the room divisor a it doesn't functional well but everything else was great. The fridge had a sticker on it and appeared to be brand new.*the tower you need to use is to the right when you arrive* don't be like me and try to get into the wrong unit.

Such a perfect location. Parking was easy and included. Place was clean and exactly as described. Beds were comfortable. A folding luggage rack would be helpful as well as a charging station for the nightstand. Pool is nice, didn't have keys for sauna. Having a book describing facilities and area sights to see would help. Otherwise we had a great trip! We'll be back!
The location is not bad, but the apartment is not in a good condition. Only half of the wardrobe can be used because one half is locked. And the half that you can use is taken up with towels and other things. There are only 3 cups, we then bought a 4th one ourselves. The light in the bathroom failed, didn't work at all in the end. The balcony door is very difficult to open and close. The cleaning staff only started to prepare the apartment for us at 3pm although it was originally said that the apartment would be ready at 3pm.
The apartment is in a good location and has the potential to be excellent. However the apartment itself has many faults. It is poorly equipt and very basic. The kitchen appliances are in a poor state including a faulty microwave. Access to the balcony is difficult as it is almost impossible to open the door. Finally the cleaning service did not pick up on a coffee maker which had been used and not cleaned out. Overall we did not feel it came up to the standards we expect of VRBO.
We had a really great stay in this unit. The location and view were wonderful. The unit was clean except for some pretty big staining on the outside of the fridge. The unit was mostly as described but really needs some maintenance. The sliding door to the balcony was quite difficult to open. The TV stand and storage unit in the bedroom area were falling apart. The kitchen cabinets were misaligned and some would not close properly. The storage drawer of the stove was broken. In the bathroom the lights were constantly flickering. Sometimes you’d be in the shower and it would be pitch black. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and had a great time. I do hope they address the maintenance issues.
Overall, our stay at the condo was good, but I struggled with whether to rate this a 3 or 4 stars. The condo is very basic and we got by with the items provided, but a few inexpensive additions would improve guest stays tremendously. Little things like adding a trash can in the bathroom, ice trays that aren’t cracked, or providing bedding for the couch would be what I consider basic. Also, the door on the tv cabinet doesn’t work and falls off if touched, and the stove never actually heated properly and had steam coming out of it. Mark however, was very responsive and helpful in replying to all my messages, with the exception of an extra blanket for the couch. Sheets were provided but I ended up buying an extra blanket for my daughter who slept on the couch (it will only sleep one). The condo was clean, but again, little things like scrubbing down the outside of the white frig would be something to improve overall appearance. We did end up having a great vacation. It is within walking distance to the beach and many restaurants and shopping. We some wonderful family memories and will hopefully come back someday!
The condo was in a great location, for walking to the beach, shopping and dining. They provided beach towels and chairs, which made it easy to enjoy the beach. There was a power outage, for one day, which was concerning. However, the outage was less time than expected. The unit was clean and well cared for. We enjoyed our stay.
We had a great stay at this property and enjoyed the good communication from our hosts. We would recommend for families as it is close to the beach, has enough of everything you need (cooking, plates, utensils, etc.) to make the stay comfortable.
