    Inside walls between units are 12 inch thick concrete which makes this condo very quite and peaceful. This unit has everything you need for a fun stay.

    Condo had everything you would want for a perfect staycation; comfortable king bed, wonderful a/c and perfect location! Good communication w/Property Mgt. There was some maintenance ongoing in parking garage during our stay, but still ample stalls available. The complex residents were so friendly and helpful too! Hope to stay here again!

You literally walk a block and you’re at the center of everything, restaurants, shopping, ocean. You can tell that the owners put a lot of effort into remodeling and maki g it look more modern, even considering that the building itself is somewhat old & outdated. If we ever return to the Big Island, I would definitely consider renting this place again!

    The apartment is clean, spacious, comfortable. It is exceptionally well positioned in central Kailua village. However, I didn’t like the process by which a signed contract was required after the booking had been made and a non-refundable deposit paid. As a regular user of another homestay app I have never been required to sign a contract separate from their standard terms and conditions. The booking process on Stayz did not flag that a contract would be required, and especially not one to be signed in 16 different spots and which had internal inconsistencies. Issuing a contract after taking a non-refundable deposit is a high pressure tactic and probably not an enforceable arrangement, but who wants to argue when put it in that situation?

    The apartment was very clean, very well equipped, including beach and snorkeling gear, right in the middle of the city, private parking, and with a nice “welcome package” of little snacks, coffee, etc. The management company is useless other than generating pages of frightening contracts to sign, but trying to contact them for assistance after 4pm on Friday, forget it. Fortunately, there are some very nice and helpful residents.

The beach toys available were over my expectations, and very enjoyable.Although the no contact check in is easy, the code to the lock box for initial key entry into the condo can only be used once. I would recommend the code for the lock box stay programmed throughout the stay in case the condo keys get locked inside the unit.I stay at the Kona Plaza every time time I visit the Big Island, and every time a parking placard is not available. I would recommend that this be on a check list and confirmed in the condo before the next visitors.

The place was loaded with beach toys, kitchen wel stocked, and management colony and owner very accommodating and attentive to our needs. We’d come back!

The underground parking garage was great to keep the car cool for our daily outings. Upon entering the condo, we were greeted with a little gift basket with some snacks and toiletries. Everything seemed clean and brightly lit. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances (coffee machine, toaster, microwave, etc) and basic utensils. Washer & dryer worked great and very useful. The lanai was well stocked with beach ready equipment (wagon, boogie boards, chairs, sand toys... and even SUPs) plus patio furniture was comfortable, especially the hammock!The management communicated and responded quickly by text. We were even allowed to check-in a bit early.Overall, we had a comfortable stay. The location is very convenient to walk to many shops and restaurants (ABC stores, multiple shave ice shops, Kona Farmer Market, etc).

    The condo was beautiful and very clean. The beach chairs, umbrellas, and other beach items was very useful. The location is in the middle of town with easy access to nearby restaurants, stores, and beach. Thank you. We enjoyed our stay!

    Property was exactly how it was pictured. Nicely appointed. It’s a very old complex and the owners did an ok job fixing it up. Bed slept really good. Wi-Fi is included plus cable tv, Netflix, HBO Max and Disney + , which was nice. It’s fine for what we paid. It is walking distance to all the Ali’i Drive restaurants. My biggest complaint was the check in procedure. We were given the wrong door code (changed that day). I called Knutson Management company and after several calls, I was taken care of a very rude, condescending young man, that got woken up around 10:00 ish and was obvious after all the yawning and asking me if I’d ever used a door code. You punch the correct numbers in, period. Anyway, we got the correct code. Knutson did refund us the first night stay.
